This project needs a more "catchy" name - Improved AI Project is a bit too specialized because we will not only focus on the Generals\ZH AI, but also on the LOTR AI later on.

The actual aim of this project is to teach people how to do efficient AI scripting, and then give those people AI problems to solve - the solutions will then be used to create more efficient AI's.

So.... can you think of a good name for this project? :uh:

The 2 i've used for the sites design were "AImprovments" and "ArtInt". Both sounds really poor.
'AI Probe' might be intresting or 'AI Engineer'.

"Game" is cool, though it would not be newbie firendly.

Wow, I never expected this many answers!

SSP sounds simple and it basically explains everything that we are about to do..

Now that you mention it, I think we should stick to G.A.M.E.

Sounds good, and can be abbreviated easily

I don't think G.A.M.E will work as a name. What happens when you try advertise it?

Hmm.. then S.S.P. would work, SAGE Scripting Project explains what we are doing, and it can be advertised : "Come visit the SAGE Scripting Project"

I figured SSP (SAGE Scripting Project) as I figured this is gonna include future releases of SAGE and perhaps Mark II editions of the technology if EAP chooses to evolve the code/engine. It relates to our work..

Btw.. more acryomns..

SAGE Scripting Initative (SSI)
SAGE Scripting Endeavour (SSE)
SAGE Scripting Annex (SSA)
SAGE Scripting Commune (SSC)

Ahh.. lots to choose from! :)

SAGE Scripting Commune sounds best to me!

SSC. Strange.. SSC also stands for Superconducting SuperCollider which is a particle-accelerating project that was cancelled by the US for "no apparent reason"..

With you on board, Thudo, this project will certainly grow quickly.

AFAIK, no one actually knows what SAGE stands for. SSI would be cool, but I think that's already used for something else (Server Side Includes...).

Well, when it comes to writing an expository essay about counter-insurgent tactics, I'm of the old school. First you tell them how you're going to kill them. Then you kill them. Then you tell them how you just killed them.

I don't think people will confuse 'SSI', as much as thay would with GAME and game.
Shame you can't say 'SSI'. If you could it would be perfect.

SSC sounds pretty good to me, and it's not used for anything real big, a google search turns up many different things, none related, so it's not a real conflict. Otherwise, SSP is pretty good, at least IMO.
