I have EasyPHP, so i can run PHP on my PC. I'd like to use the servers MySQL, so that i don't have to keep copying over the database for the latest versions.

What do i put for localhost?

127.0.0.1, localhost works too.

Maybe your home PC IP?

Why would i connect to my database if i want to use the servers? :p

The idea is to use the servers database, so that i don't have to copy my database to the server and back for every change.

You would put Icetex's IP and the U and P for that DB.

Quite possibly, either the server is configured not to accept remote connections or the firewall simply blocks the MySQL port...
