Administrators, can a new class of members be made?
Consisted of Beta testers, the new class will be made so modders can call upon them to test for bugs and other mod issues.
Or is this group unneccasary? I feel it is, as some modders ask in forums who wants to test the betas. Modders should choose who would be in this group

That group has existed longer than Revora :p
Modders can add anyone they like to the Project Team. Info about this is in the hostees forum.

This group used to exist and was removed because no one used it. The project team can be used for beta testers as well.

Well, when it comes to writing an expository essay about counter-insurgent tactics, I'm of the old school. First you tell them how you're going to kill them. Then you kill them. Then you tell them how you just killed them.

Or Beta Test a mod and need to post information in their staff forums
(im assuming you would need the mod to vouch for you though)

I think if the mod leader(s) see it as nessecary, (so you can post in the staff forum etc) then yes.

I think the mod leader should decide on that. If you need it for staff forum access to post your results on the beta tests, then you should have it. If it's not of any use regarding mod work, it's not really nessecary. The mod leader should decide on whether they see it as nessecary for you to be in the Project Team.

I think you dislike being a member and want to get above us members  .
Well I would not ask to be a project team member because we are members and I class that here as a employee, projects members are informments, staff are servents to mods and admins :p , moderators are supervisors, admins are head supervisors, and leaders are... well they are just leaders of the whole site. :p ;)

Beta Testers is more of a loosly used term. They are not an neccessary part of mods but people tend to do it because modders want their creations to turn out good.

I don't think that the beta testers should be a group on their own since one minute they are needed the next they're not. The best thing to do is to offer your services (at the apropriate time) and leave it to them to choose whether or not you are worthy

I don't think that Modders should be told WHO to use as a Beta tester since its totally up to them what to do with the mod :p

You cant just say 'Im gunna BETA test' as you should take time on a BETA. Experience it and give it you all. Not just play on it think 'yeah ok' then play on different one. Take time to understand the changes then play a load of games as all sides and use the new stuff. Balance is the key, oh and fun.

Thats what I think a tester should do. :p

hey sam you r right
i'm tired of being just a member, i agree with Azer
but Detail i just joined this year, so a ye old one won't apply to me, maybe a group of extermely active posters should be made
because i was checkin out the members group and i share a class with
members who don't even post!
I know i don't have that many posts but i jus wanna have some other class
than "member"

I've been a member for more than a year (from when I joined until I became a Senator). I do recognise a little bit what you are saying, but in my opinion it's not just and only a member group which says how 'important' a person is :p.
