I have long felt this way and now proved it. I've played me(usa) and another hard USA against 2 AI, one hard and one medium, both GLA. I have to spent 1/3 of my resources defending him. We lost because he could not defend himself.

It seems EA could not write an AI script that actually knows how to play. USA AI is the dumbest ever. Someone should write a new AI script for USA that works better than EA's.

I hope someone heeds my call...

and yes I know how to play. I've played with them all. USA AI script is defunct. It is inferior to the other players AI. TY

Have you ever heard of Thud's AI ?

Thudo is working on an improved version of the ZH AI - and the SDI will solve some complicated script problems.

BTW Ever heard of RVMECH's Almost Human AI ?

heheh.. I think you'll be vastly surprised how better scripts make the experience with either an AI ally or AI opponents. For example, my USAF AI will send a squad of Stealth Comanches out, attack unsuspecting enemies then go hide to them spring again somewhere else. What great is they'll head off in a direction the player thinks might be where the enemy base is. heheh. Its a pretty righteous pack! King Raptors operate a little differently but I can't give all the surprises away just on the USAF alone.

Anyway.. I'll be submitting some of my queries about advanced AI initiatives when I get back from the North Country. Nice to get out of the city once and a while.

Well I can't give them away quite yet until they go beta then I want PRO-PLAYERS (Generals+ZH players who are specificially most-leathal playing a certain faction ie. USAF gurus.. and who would attempt to use their hardcore and battle-proven tactics against the AI to see how well it can be swept aside) to thoroughly test the AI's behaviour to see anything that can be improved. I can't pick up everything but I'll damn well try my best!
