Well i made an ini Cleaner while back, it takes all empty lines out and comments of the ini files. So today i loaded up all the bfme1 inis and this is the result, saved 2mbs of space (the picture is a little decieving, math problem.)

That means 1/6th of ini big is comments and lines.

Doesn't that make it less neat and harder to understand?
btw 2 MB in total is not that much nowadays, if for example you have a > 100 GB hard drive..
What language did you write it in? Just curious .

He wrote it in VB.net

and while 2 Mb may be useless, it's great for those who'd like to remove all the useless comments and gain some clarity

Well Column1 is the Beginning lines in that file before cleaning, column2 is the result lines after cleaning. The 3rd column is the beginning size, and the 4th is the resultin size. The very bottom is the total.

It's also useful for distribution, especially of mini-mods, who can cut all the crap from their ini files and reduce the download size

No but for people who dont have a mega-super computer its very considerate. Those people who have crapy computers with slow connection would appreciate it, I like it and it doesnt bug me because i got 200gb harddrive space. Anyway this will be out when i release the 5 programs at once, to the public.

I make the little tedious things easy so mods can focus on the true meaning of their mod and not waste time on little petty things, thats my job

Im not modding for people im making it easier for them dummy. I like focusing on the long tedious things people hate and make them quicker and easier so they have time for other stuff in the mod.

Ironically, an XP level creator is something I would have liked to have three months ago, when I made 100 level Xp ranks for 35 different units. Ouch ><
