If you put that ingame might i suggest using fx to make the lightsabers more...appealing. the skin and model are very well done though you might want to patch up those gaps between the head tentacle things and the head itself. small spaces inbetween a noticable..

for the glow plane:
Export settings:
export transform
export geometry
2-Side
Texture settings:
in the 'vertex material' tab
ambient: black
diffuse: black
specular: black
emissive: color of lightsaber
then in 'shader' tab
Blend
blend mode: add
that should work

you also need a texture for the forged blades, black is invisible, white is the pure color of the lightsaber glow.

Either its the textures settings or export settings that are the problem....read my post again and check to make sure they are right. Make the blend mode (in texture settings) add, and make the export settings normal and 2-side. That should fix the lightsaber problem.

Are you sure you merged the gmax file with no changes at all? Not sure why the saber fx aint working....

Oh.. and the pale Aalya skin (which you should mention came from Battlefront II) may be due to the texture setting.. a high ambient or somthing...
