But when you say mission only does that mean we will only see these new units in campaign mode and not skirmish/multiplayer?
Cuz I wouldn't mind seeing a hero in every category: Airplanes, tanks, light vehicles, naval units, etc. These hero units could be improved versions of existing units or completely new units.
Maybe each infantry hero can enter a vehicle, pilot it, and add abilities to it as long as they use it.

Idea:
Master Sargeant of The Air Force: flies a seriously modified King Raptor with lots of power and range. Fires AMRAAMs and is King of the Skies.

The AssASsin (sorry i'm typing with one hand) should be able to snipe every once in a while a rank level away from an opposing vehicle or maybe like he could snipe garrisoned units

And there are three other sky hero units who fly their own modified planes. One flies your improved King Raptor, one flies an Aurora upgraded with stealth and some heavy weapons, and one flies a drone control plane, which calls in off-map UCAVs to destroy anything either in the plane's general area or what you target.

Stop it I demand people stop reading my mind . I guess the secrets out. Well yeah it's true there will be more heros, but only as units for missions, and for General Powers. Such as the Raptor Strike, you'll have a commander which announces to you that he has entered the battlefield and is about to commence his run. Those you wont have to protect, but the mission ones you will. The aircraft ones will have an ejection seat, in which case, you can control them when they land, and then they become more like Col. Burton, probably holding a light Auto rifle, probably an MP5, and a side arm.

Six thumbs up and then some.

Construct additional pylons. No, seriously. The power's out. Those power lines are overloaded. WE NEED MOAR PYLONS!

Then one day after the phone lines were fixed then my wireless home network quit for some reason. It was out for a few days while I waited for my highly techy younger brother to come over and take a look at it. However, before he came over, it magically started working again. I must have unknowingly fixed it while I was tinkering with it blindly. So, I don't know what the h*** is up with my network, but at lease I'm back (for now).
Crave22 get your punishment stick ready. I'm coming for it, if and when she craps out again.

That was really good... Or holding a chicken launcher
Now seriusly the black lotus with uzi sidearm is a very good idea
As for the heros, Vanguard i suggest that they will also included in skirmish.. For gameplay variety (i will put many in B.F.)
