Can PR play better on a LAN connection? Just wondering cause of all the bugs and synch. errors in online play.

I played over a home wireless LAN here with my younger brother when he was staying here with me for a while. I didn't have as many Synch errors as I did when I'd play him over the internet, but still had all the other bugs, such as the SW gen's bug etc...

well then, I think some of our efforts should rely on identifying bugs and eliminating them.

yeah i would of liked an online game at the cost of losing power over my trainer and suffering a reinstallation but hey i would play anyway! it's just some of you seem to be over in America and time moves differently in the UK :p

still nuthin' stoppin' me from checking when i'm free anyway! :)

this might be a little over the top but: we could have a high tech application which identifys online PR users and they can be challenged as if it was a LAN but file sharing over it is impossible since all the bandwidth would be restricted to gaming and a mini chat room similar to the diablo 2 battle net or the earth 2160 earth net.

bugs are most likely to occur in a comp which has so much cr*p installed you can't tell whats causing all... those... sodding... BSODS! :umad: :) like when i would get killed over and over again without reason or warning on gen challenge at the very start and the gen in question says stuff i never heard of and they just sit around sipping tea... and white rum +65% alcohol (ouch!)

delta it appears you double posted

hey spartan 117 to let you know i have emailed you and PMed you to tell you important bits of info about what my comp does to me sometimes when i try to log onto an online game but i must try anyway right? you may have to host the game since i'm just on limited broadband from BT (grrrrr) and we're stuck on a contract and me trying to host a game would use up our system resources and my bro won't like that
