I have just noticed that Rockstar wanna release GTA: Liberty City Stories on the PS2.

I don't understand why. By leaving it on the PSP people would buy more PSP's and SONY would get much money. But now people are just gonna wait for it to come out on PS2 and screw the PsP's.

I just don't get it. It's like re-releasing GTA3!

Its all about the money.. PSP sales suck.. the DS owned the PSP.. and PS2 has 100 million users.. LCS just needs to sell better according to Take Two, so they bring it to all those other GTA fans.

GTA's rightful home was the PlayStation and PS2. It was always going to remain faithful to its roots. I'm thinking it's a good move since, as Daeda said, Sony aren't too hot on the handheld market, even though their handheld is more powerful than the DS.

Ninty do handhelds, Sony and MS (formerly this position was Sega but they flopped out) do housebound. It's the way it is...

GTA: LCS is actually great. Better than GTA3 imo, even though releasing it on consoles may be stupid since it is actually a bit of a rehash. However, GTA sales on consoles are so stupidly high that Rockstar have seen it as an opportunity to cash in. Do you blame them? I don't.

Its Economy Prod, im the only kid in the class paying attention to it,its very logical.
It is like Final Fantasy, most popular RPG on the world, its for the PS1/2 only, so RPG-people buy PS1/2 to play final fantasy.

Same goes for GTA. Over 100 Million ppl own a PS2 (Mentioned Above)
PSP is a crappy machine, which has 'Dead Pixels' , soon the world will be taken over by living pixels, heheheehehe

It is like, some kids own a PSP, they buy LCS for PSP
Other Ppl own a PS2, they buy LCS for PS2, it is a double-win situation, sony aint stupid.

GTA fans want to play GTA: LCS, so they buy a PsP just for that! IF they start selling it on the PS2 then there GTA fans would just buy it on PS2 and not buy a PsP.

But Rockstar are not owned by Sony. They couldn't give a rat's ass how well Sony prosper, so long as people buy Rockstar games. If Sony fold, Rockstar will make games for Xbox. It's all the same to them.

Personally, I'd like to see LCS on the PS2. I mean, it's prolly combining all the new options from SA with the enviroment of GTA3. And that statement I made proves why Rockstar is doing it. They will make more money. RS doesn't give a shit if Sony makes cash. They only care about themselves.

The PSP is a very, very good handheld. It's just Nintendo has a better foundation in the handheld business. Sooner or later, the PSP will catch on. It'll just take time for that to happen.

If it was a LC game with parts from SA then I wouldn't even be talking about it now!

Its as if they're re-releasing GTA 3. People arn't gonna buy it if they've already played a better version of the game!
