Still Pathfinders, and all they have to do is walk right up the front door, which is usually flat terrain. Besides, it's not that hard to get plenty of Rangers there, who can clear buildings quick and are cheap. Last time I checked it only took one flashbang to kill all three guys. Back them up with a quick airstrike on the nearest tunnel network and a few tanks and you can roll right through unopposed.

About the Stealth Bomber on the other one: That damages everyone in there and draws them out, then the shockwave/earthquake scatters them. Anything decently powerful is incredibly slow, and by the time you get them back to the tunnel network the tanks will surround the other one and kill whatever comes out if they didn't destroy the tunnel first.

Or Auroras on the main entrance tunnel, since you seem so convinced Quads can't bring them down on their way in (which HAS happened to me)

i dont like how a pathfinder or toxic spill can kill ur infantry the instant they exit the barracks before they can do anything....

How about VG makes every building garrisonable, but the US and China can only have less troops in their own buildings.

Mmmmm, bad idea Ace, the barracks have garrison slots, but just to heal making them for anything else would interfere with with that, besides doing that would just be wierd.

ok im back

i want to say something for the stinger sites...
i know they're dumb, they take a lot of space, and they do nothing.... now make a poll, then we will see how many want them changed...and then if Vanguard wants it, i can model a new gla turret :)

also, if the vang wants that, he may also keep the stinger sites, for militia.. or the stealth gla

Well it would just be redesigned I wouldn't want them to use a turret system.

Personally, in my opinion, they're fine as is. A new model's would be ok, a bit smaller maybe. But in general I think it's fine.

What I would like to see is a garrisonable bunker of somesort for the GLA. Perhaps, maybe one that looks like the stinger site. So you wouldn't be able to tell what your running up against.

Is that a stinger site your coming up against? Or is it a bunker with upto 10 Al Qaeda heavy gunners in it? You'll never know 'til you hit the bunker.

We've already seen pretty much every variant of a bunker, so maybe something a bit more original.

Here's an idea: Build a Stinger Site (maybe new name for this) then upgrade it to have some kind of turret, choose between a quad, the top of a tank, etc. However, the Stinger guys are still there, they just step to the side of the site and still regenerate.

It looks out of place on the front lines though. Seriously, their palace as a defensive structure? It's too big and expensive to use to hold five infantry on the main entrance. If they are getting a bunker, it should be something quite a bit smaller.

Is there any way to enable anyone in a Tunnel Network to fire out of it as long as they only fire out of one hole at a time? That would be perfect GLA style, maybe even having them pop out of a little hole in the ground, capping someone, going down, and re-stealthing the hole. Have this version incredibly cheap and fast to build.

I know I always did. The Palace is a very useful structure as a defense.

Yes, but it wasn't meant to be a used as a that, and looks totally unrealistic on the front lines. So, I would say no to strengthening the palace, and just go ahead an make a new bunker type of structure that is more realistic looking for frontline defense. (and de-garrision the palace so it can't be used as a frontline bunker anymore)

Nah, I wouldn't mind still being able to garrison a Palace. Adds to the GLA sneak attack ideal.
