The militia has been released as a work-in-progress. They'll get some extra powers.

This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Andre 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

Yes, unlike most mods, which constantly work on new sides for a long period of time, PR released and constantly worked on the Militia, their new side. this allows for more error/bug reports, and help the PR team make the Militia better.

Yes, they're right, and as for the gen powers there will be more, you can count on it, even a new superweapon, and there will be new stuff in 8.0.

I can't give you an exact date. But I would guess sometime within the next 2 to 4 weeks perhaps, depending on how testing 'n stuff goes. Just an guess at this point. Keep your eyes open on PR's homepage for updates on the release of 8.0.

Guardian Turret: It's coded for Zero Hour, you can download it and throw it into your game if you want. It won't be in PR, but if you want to use it in PR you can add it in yourself.

Vanguard: Do we have permission to put that in our own mod if we make one? If I ever figure out coding and/or modeling, I might start putting one together.

It should be pretty straight forward if you just look at the code, anything that has
;--------CommandButton.ini------- over it, goes in commandbutton.ini, the only thing is that adding it to PR again will not allow you to play online with anyone unless they have it installed in the exact same mannor.

Yeah, if you want to edit the core files. Wait you have MSN? I'll help you out on adding said object, I will add it in 8.0 so that you can place them in WB. No buttons since Hunter has them in SW for General Iron side. So you will have to make due with just being able to place them.

VG, I have an idea to free up a LOT of upgrades. If we combine all the mine upgrades into one and put it in the CC, it'll free up a lot. and to free up even more, the nuke gen get neutron mine upgrade straight from the CC, no need ofr regular mine upgrade. this would effectively free up around 26 per general. this would allow more upgrades for the Militia.

That wouldn't free up any upgrades, since there are only two mine upgrades, a single upgrade can be used on multiple units. See all the chinese use the regular mines and the neutron mines. Lets take the Battle drone for instance if I removed it's upgrade no vehicle for the US that uses that upgrade could build a battledrone. It's like that, plus the mine upgrades are good anyway. I have a few work arounds, like with the Vehicles able to lay mines and the Reguard laying a claymore, those no longer use upgrades they now use a Power, like the Rocket pods, and Rebel Ambush. Also in 8.0 there will no longer be the ability for all chinese vehicles to lay mines, instead they will have a layer which can lay a larger patch of mines, since atm every vehicle you have, if you capture a chinese base and you're the US and you build say a red guard, you will then have two CIA Intelegence things, even though you can only use one, the reason is I used that power for the Claymore and Lay mines ability. This will be a redone version, also the Combat Engineer, will now have more weapons that he can place, and will construct them. Such weapons will also allow for minimal AA protection. He will also beable to clear mines in a small area, he himself will have weapons of no sort.

What if you group upgrades together, like if you upgrade to Anthrax Gamma, it is the same as upgrading to Beta except Toxin General just starts out with better toxin. Like::

You know in the Data for the units and how each general has its own set thing, if you modify the weapons Toxin General to not have "Anthrax Beta" the upgrade but rather start out with a higher level of toxin, this eliminating the need for the Gamma Upgrade.
