I downloaded it, and I tried to look for how to install 04, but couldn't find anything. the readme isn't that clear. "just unpack to where zerohour should be installed and run game" --- sorry for noob-ish question.
It means the directory structure for the files is included in the zip file. Just unpack it into the ZeroHour main folder (probobly under Program Files/EA/zero hour, or somehting alot like that.
Between now and the next polished release there should be very little new art work done. Instead the focus is on designing, testing, and fixing. the mod has always been so close to finished that its nearly criminal. I'd love to see this through to the end with a real community effort.

So, all I have to do is send the main file (box with books thing) into that file?

I have to send it to a zipped folder to extract the files to the zero hour folder. Anyway, I'll try that. thanks.

This is what I did, seemed to work for me: forget the zipped folder thing. just take the file that appears on your desktop after you download contra 004. open it. the go back to your desk top, and move your cursor over the zerohour Icon. it will tell you the exact file name of zerohour. copy all this down to the space where it says destination folder. I did that because when I tried to intall it, and browsed to zerohour (easy way) it sent it to a different folder. I don't know if this will work for you, but it's what I did.hi, um sorry for n00by question but do i replace the new data folder with the old one?no.. you need to unpack it there. extract TO that folder.

You have to overwrite them. It will replace just a couple files.
