As for T-90 - i've made this model using T-72B drawing, however i've modified it after. Probably you know - there are no accurate T-72 drawings at all (which is wierd, since there are lots of high-quality T-64 and T-80 drawings). Here's the comparison between my model (without T-90 stuff) and T-72B photo. Probably i've made some minor mistakes, but i think i am still pretty close:

Here's more updated screens allowing to look at the details
We do not need fx artists. We need a 2d artist/skinner
agreed
and what is the weird cloud behind the tank? (not the barrel smoke)
It's an engine exhaust.

Well, I've forgot to change the recoil value... We're working on the models, so I don't have enough time to code.realy nice alex but don't you think the recoil is abit overkill ? it almost flips over
I have to admit that I have an untrained eye for good texturing, but I would say this is an improvement. Might I suggest some dirt as well?
Yes, some dirt should look realistic&nice.
when i watched a tank video, i compared and found the recoil looks more normal than i first though..........
No, recoil has to be changed

And here's another variant I guess, it's called T-90S
EDIT:
I would strongly suggest blueprints for reference...
