Sub-forums have a better chance of getting used if you can't post in the "parent" forum. ;)2

Getting a sub-forum is like getting a loan from the bank. I need to know you will pay me back (in posts).
Sub-forums usually don't get used, so you have to convince me that this one will.

You also need to give full titles and descriptions.

Then have the following subforums, each will have their own mod and corrosponding section on my site.

General/News
Media (Movies/TV/Music)
Politics
Linux

Under General/News itd be the "anything goes" section where if it dosnt fall under Media, Politics, or Linux it goes there...I anticipate it will be the most popular.

With Media I anticipate plently of polls and discussions about new releases, popular tv (chappelle show, family guy) and a way people can introduce one another to new music. (If we leave any section out leave this one...)

Polotics are of great interest to me...I watch CNN/Daily Show all the time and I've done my best with keeping up with the current elections. I think there will be some heated debates in this section and certainly some interesting insights on world issues, seeing that there are people from all over post here.

Linux, obviously something that we dont see a whole lot of on origin...ikarus is mighty handy with it and I think he could teach us a few things...Tutorials and follow up discussions would go on here.
