@VG, if another video isn't made for 8.0, then could you put the intro video from the original generals in? the one where it goes "great leaders decide conflicts with words... words like..." i won't reveal the rest for anyone who doesn't remember, but that would be great to see. i love that video.

can't help with the bug karl - i've got one of them too somewhere in the depths of this computer though.
Of course I don't look busy; I did it right the first time.

i currently have a viral infection and my virus scanner McAfee isnt detecting it as such....which is weird since it has always served me well in the past, and karl if ur unsure about deleting it, go into the file and see what kind it is, if it is an aplacation infected then...try to clean it or quarentien, but its likely that its a useless program that trys to make itself look usefull....
my computer says its infected...but McAfee did a full scan and there is nothing.... another interesting thing... my virus scan keeps turning off... i think the virus hacked into the anti viral softwear itself :p

avg anti virus is ok since you can get a free version of decent ability from their main site but i use avast! anti virus since it is more reliable than avg and when a virus attacks the program makes itself known with its little alarm and voice telling you: "caution a virus has been detected" and like most if not all anti viruses it gives the location which is kinda obvious but what ever you do do not i repeat do not get panda anti virus! first version according to my bro was so bad friggin windows security could beat it, second version: bit better but still rubbish and so on since they have loads of new versions ready to buy and all... not very good is the polite word to say about panda anti virus

@karl

urrr are you aware that the system32 exucutable is (put in it's simplest form) the black screen where you type commands and deleting it any part of it may crap your comp up badly which would need a reinstall! :p

unless you want to tempt fate and delete it but this trojan horse you speak of, is is most probably spyware and you will have to treat your systems files... operation with care unlike some pinhead who would probably just delete the file and show about as much care as a trainee surgeon trying to amputate someones leg with a rusty spoon :p

i don't know probably not being a system32 file which is like one of the most important parts of the windows operating system and if i'm wrong and it is replaced well... in short that is good but if it doesen't get replaced... well nuff said

the best place to look for a solution is FAQs across the internet regarding your virus problem but if you don't find the answer to your question either post it and wait for a day or 2 or just say 'to hell with this' and delete the infected file and have an emergancy windows install disk at the ready

either way i strongly reccomend that you create a backup of your work etc just in case
