Also, about trying to put the colors in the game, [Ext. Edit] without running the serperate BFME icon. Possible, not trying to take advantege of you Gothmog. ^_^

If you want to add new team colors to the Ext. Edition mod it will require a bit of modding.

First extract the team colors .big file and extract the Ext. Edition .big file. Then find the "multiplayer.ini" file in the team colors mod and copy it into the Ext. Edition mod so that it overwrites the existing one. Then add all the Ext. Edition files back into their .big and try it out.

Would the old skirmish colors work better to mod with? , because you did make the new installer and all.

Same thing about putting in the colors in the Ext. Edition for good, was it easier to do it with the New Skirmish colors old installer? How would you do it with the new one?, because i cant gind the ini's in both the colors mod and in the Ext Edition, which is Deezire. :rolleyes:

Please don't make two topics on the exact same thing :p

Let me make this easier:

-Open up the Ext Edition.big file
-extract all the files into a new folder on the desktop
-Go into "data\ini\multiplayer.ini"
-Read this "how to" file I wrote: Attached File  Creating_Custom_Colors.txt   1.02KB   73 downloads
-Edit the Ext Edition Multiplayer.ini file and add in all your new colors
-save multiplayer.ini and exit it
-now drag all the files you extracted back into the .big file
-put the Ext Edition.big file back in the place you found it (My Battle for Middle-earth Files) and run the mod.

Better? :mellow:

You may certainly use my new colors in a mod... it's just a set of numbers which I can't copyright or anything :)

If you'd like to use my saruman in a mod, that's fine, just give me credit for it and let me know :p

Your version or mine? Because I created a new button image for him and it may be that you don't have it referenced right, or you didn't add it to the asset.dat or something...

what i did is, just add everything from your mod into my own .big file should i add you asset.dat from the saruman.big to mine aswell? or is there a tutorial on how to do it because im not really good at the adding of images.... but like i said the industry button worked for him just not the word of power.

and iv only referenced it like u did so i dont no whats wrong, and what i ment is can i not just send u the .Big file and you see whats up, i wouldnt think itr wud take long.

ok, but all you needed to do was create a new Asset.dat file with the new art/w3d files in it. That would have solved your problem.

ok thanks a lot

I did find codes for the colors in the INI.big file in the directory
for example:
Mordors color red:

MultiplayerColor ColorMordorRed
RGBColor = R:178 G:102 B:138
RGBNightColor = R:178 G:102 B:138
TooltipName = Color:MordorRed
End

I could'nt find the data/ini/multiplayer.ini, but is this the same thing?
And also there is no Ext. Edition.big file but there is the deezire.big, which has kinda the same stuff in the INI.big. :sad:
