Please feel free to add anything else here on what you like, or dislike, about the different types of maps out there. Also, what you would like to see more of, or less of, in maps. Any tips or suggestions you might have.

And finally, if you know of any great maps out there that others forum members might enjoy, please list them here. Tells us your favorites, and if possible please post a link to the map.

Feel free to bump this topic back to the top (if it gets old) if you run across any new quality maps out there that might be of interest to the group, and again please post a link.

Thank you, and if your new to Project Raptor, welcome.

then i shall...the type of maps i prefer are large rocky or city filled maps leaving just a little bit of building room, or small flat maps, in addition i love infantry and tank only maps...for some reason im obsessed with them...but thats just me, i like 3v3 maps since there are 2 friends i mostly play with online, AND i like good comp stomp maps, where there are like 4 comps on one side with 2 people on the other the people being somewhat close together for better defence and easy assistence if your in trouble.

I like spaceous maps with small towns and building here and there and some tech buildings. But must have lots of space to fight on. But i rather like smaller attacks to finnish the job that my covert ops, gen powers and super weapon strikes have done.

Is it just me or are the night maps REALLY dark. I like an "evening" map, or at least put some lights on buildings or something, cus I can't see a dang thing. I also like sparse maps with a little bit of stuff around. I hate to have my base jammed in somewhere and everythings going everywhich way.

I really kinda like the bigger maps with 8 players so i can play 4 vs 4 matches. It is fun to watch the AI's bash eachother into stalemates in the middle of the map. Then wipe them off the face of the map with my giant mop of judgement! :umad:
Also, when my brother or friends get online we like to team up against the other 6 guys and win. Trust me, it is hard to beat Twilight Flame with an human ally vs 6 hard AI's.

Actually using the terrain to your advantage is good. Although most people hate it when you do that :umad:. But you should add choke points.

lol, needless to say i got overwhelmed.

I'll get you a replay of me and him playing on the same sides.

Me using my new best general Stealth (we worked on a few things after that replay to better my stategy at him) and Spartan being....someone.

You can play as Boss Gen in PR? Also, will there be campaigns for the individual generals, or just the same challange thing?

On Topic-Shoke points are great, especially when there is that ledge above the exit/entrance on both sides where you can build a couple defense buildings that tear any invaders appart before they get anywhere. (Racks up experience fast)
