Anti-theft devices are the usual. However, I think the car actually deadlocks or at very least becomes immobilised if someone breaks in.

If you can actually find the door handle, which is operated by first pushing a slot at the side to reveal the handle, and then pulling the handle out.


I can still smell the leather interior. About four cows had to die to make the seats It was a good, just and righteous death, though.

Lotus? What's special about them? The Esprit was okay, but the Elise and Exige are actually really common. Worst thing is, those SmartSport cars look just like...so I have gone off them as a result.

Sounds like what Kal said, however he spelt Paedophile right. And I wouldn't call burning around at 90mph just for the sheer hell of it 'malicious intentions'. Not my fault I happen to have the best dentist in the world!

Yes. 0-100 in about 7 (given that the first 60mph takes 4.5 seconds )

I admit most British cars are nothing special, but when under British ownership, TVR were good (not anymore...the Russian guy's fucked them up), Ariel (makers of the delightful Atom), Aston Martin...Jaguar used to be good, before being annexed by Ford, and the original Cooper used to be wonderful. MG and AC did, too, before also being annexed.
But by the same token, what have Australia done for the automotive world lately? Oh, Holden? Yeah. Owned by Vauxhall! How shit is that? And Holden cars are nothing more than Ford Mustangs by another name anyway...so, you've got the worst of both worlds. Ford engineering and styling with Vauxhall ownership. Can't get much worse than that...

You don't need reasons for not liking Lotus.
