hello from kenya!!! Shock there's internet out here! ... but it's 56k and very slow...
Anyways, the army training bit's over and I made it somehow. I'll be out here for another week or so before i'm finally home, then I can tell you my war stories, like the close encounter with the elephant that left one of my squadmates in hospital and was inches away from sending me there with him... also the story of being on a night sentry, seeing nothing in the darkness, then looking thru the night vision kit to see a very big pussy cat licking it's chops some 30 meters away...
Close calls, but I'm fine. I'll be spending the next week doing adventure training activities in a place called Saigana.
Weather here has been extremely hot throughout, insects extremely big everywhere and water in short suplly all the time, but those are stories for when i get home.
