Well, I was doing three maps for this mod, Cuivienen, Gondolin, the hidden city(made by Evanel and edited by me) and Thangorodrim, the lair of Morgoth.

All of them are really good except that I think you should make the tower on the Gondolin map less grey and brighter white, as well as changing the ring around it to a darker gold. Can you show more of Thangorodrim or is it too early? It seems as if thats just the entrance...

This map of thangorodrim, is a map I made before for the bfme 1, for the battle for beleriand (I just have edited it a bit). This is the link:

Hi all.
Well, ill try to explain all of you how is L4E mod were workin on.
That project is huge and will take a lot of time from us to finish it.
The mod will recreate the 4 mainly Ages in LOTR world, its from First Age of Sun to War of the Ring.
Buying updates, your faction will be in upper ages(just like Age of Empires)and then you will able to buy new units, heroes, ...
The Factions will be: Elves, Men, Dwarves and the evil one(without name already).Every faction will has minifactions. So you could create Minas Morgul, Isengard, and others minifactions if youre playing Evil faction or Arnor, DolAmroth, ...if youre playing Men. Same with the other 2 factions.
The battles will be much more bigger than now, not only because of higher cp, too because of the different ages you will has along the game. Since werewolves, Beorn, Balrogs, Morgoth...
And we will include a hughe campaign too, includin the best stories from LOTR since Feanor, till the Black Gate battle in the war of the ring(Beleriand batlle, Helms Deep...you know, all of them)
So, L4E will be near a completly new game.

the Gondolin map made me fall off my chair. It's absolutely awesome. Urban Warfare, mmm :sad:

Well, we're not 2 xD We're three coders, three story writers, and one beta tester :sad:
The moddelers/skinners and the other stuff (like the sound, maps, concept art etc.) makers are FRA and me.
About the AI, I think it will not be a problem because I saw that it's more easy to do than in bfme 1. Right?

One of the minifactions of the evil side (Mordor, angband...) is the goblins. We've changed the citadel, and you'll build the goblin warriors there. Also, I made a troll drummer as a fortress expansion, that gives leadership to the nearby units:

Wow very good, could you tell me what the drum model is called? I saw it in the campaign missions, but couldnt find it in the w3d files.
