Then the skeleton wouldn't fit then.
Alos, I'll talk to Matias about this but I've done a Haradrim Rider. I was thinking this could be the light raider and then one of the team will do a heavy raider. They look great ingame I must say even on the lowest settings.
Enough of the rambling: harad_raiders.JPG

*off topic Feeling a little bit quaky coming back from holiday so excuse any spelling mistakes*

Anyways. That's as far as it is, as I have been on holiday and un-able to work on the Harad coding.
As for the question..... I don't really know.

How's it coming?: Pretty good, skinning and modelling isn't as far as it could be, but who cares.

EDIT: The fortress? You mean all the Harad buildings in one screenshot? Not just yet. I'm quite sure that the next screenshot you will see of Harad will have many more buildings and some more units in aswell. That building, top centre is the Harad stables at the moment, subject to change possibly. As for the archers being able to garrison, I will look at that when I code a lot later on.

I like how you guys are taking the models from the Harad map, maybe it would be good to take models from the Dunland and Rhun map too. I would be kind of dissapointed if you left the Harad fortress like it is in that picture, mainly because it is very small and feeble, unlike the fortress of MotW, Mordor, Isenguard e.t.c which are huge and menacing.

Ahhh actually, those buildings are huge comparred to those of MotW, Elves and all the other factions. Plus, that is an unfinished image, I was showing you what the building style will be like for Harad.
But, for the fortress... I havn't thought of that and yes, compared to the rest, it is puny. I'm trying to think, is there anything more suitable that could be used for Harad's citadel?

Also, yes, I played the Rhun map for the first time today and waas impressed with the models, but I think they are unsuitable and Matias thinks they are the same as the Harad map :) Possibly, will see what Matias says about it when he looks at the buildings.

Good Job, you just ruined Matias' mood. Now the skin is never going to get done. But a slight suggestion for the fortess, don't follow the cloth building design, make it look like sandstone or something.

I dunno I think the Easterling Barracks is quite good, looks japanese in a way, it would be a good place to produce Khandish units to. Also, I reeaally like the Easterling Windmill, that would be a nice resource gatherer. I'm glad you guys arent going to base the Harad fortress on the cloth and bone style, sandstone or another similar type of stone would look much better.

Alright we are officially NOT using ingame Harad stuff anymore, because they are simply weirdly skinned and coded. We are doing our own stuff.

Oh but they are

We are quite far in the ''modelling department'' of the new Harad buildings so that should mean an update within a few days.
