The new D-day site is finally up & running, you can find it here. This site not only looks better but fixes some bugs & will work correctly in FF now. I have also taken new screenshots of most of the units, which total around 130 pics! You may notice that some units are missing tho, this is because I’m planning to make new versions soon so didn’t bother to add the old ones :huh:

& to top that off here are a few more pics...

it's like christmas come again :p K18 is looking particularly sexy.

btw there are a lot more tanksand vehicles showing up in the unit lists, which seems interesting :huh:

The K18 has an overlay problem when it’s deployed, not sure how I’m gona fix it & still keep the recoil effect accurate

The list of units on the site is what I’ve made & not the "unit list" etc. contrary to that tho the unit list for v3.5 is going to be expanded to include these units :huh:

Nice, but the Soviet 52K 85mm looks puny. Not really matching up to it's 85mm caliber. :-(

This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Andre 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

:huh: the new site & pics

However... I have some suggestions again *sigh* :huh:

The news part seems so small compared to for instance the shout box. I suggest convert them... Or remove the shout box... As of now I have to scroll from left to right, although I'm looking at it 1024x786 like the site is best viewed... Also, with the units pop-up, the page drops down too, so everytime I want to view another unit, I have to scroll down first. Not that I mind though, I'm not lazy at all, but it's not very user-friendly. I liked it better when you could just see them. This was probably done for dial-uppers but I'm on BB, so meh... Btw. the portal site isn't that dial-up-friendly anyhow. :p

The mod - euhm, excuse me, TC - itself keeps getting better and better though. Thx again Mig!

@Maggot

The thing with the shout box was a typo that messed the layout up in IE, I’ve fixed it now tho

I made the popups with normal html code so they make the page jump to the top of the screen. I’m looking into redoing them with javascript which should fix the problem tho.

I found a popup javascript, works much better! (why didn't I just use java in the first place >.< ) I’ll have the gallery pages recoded in a few hours.

The prototype was built in late 1943 & it went into service four months before the war ended, it's used in the post-war section of D-day along with the Meteor & Canberra...

Also on a side note, I made that voxel about a year & half ago :p
