18 weeks? wtf, did you get hit by a truck or something? :p

Sorry to hear about the bad break. I had a small hip fracture, after falling off a ladder at work about three years ago. I was confined to a wheelchair for about three months. Painful as heck. I also now have a whole new respect for persons in wheel chairs permanently after getting a brief taste of life in one.

Wish you well, and welcome to the group. (or the motley crew) ;)

Definately Motley Crew. -=Insert another drink=- :p My e-mail adress is alcoholic_beverage_man. I guess it was a good idea (i knew it would come in handy some day).
I busted up my wrist ice skating the other day. I'm going to see my doctor in about 5 minutes.
On topic though, how good are rail tanks? I never seem to get round to building them - i prefer the King Crusader approach (+ GGAM's and ICBM's a plenty.)
Of course I don't look busy; I did it right the first time.

I build rail tanks or the M1A2 all the time when playing the SW general. I prefer them over the King Crusader. One reason I prefer it, is because the King Crusader likes to go wandering off by themselves uncontrollably, right directly into harms way. I really hate that. I've nicknamed it the 'when idiots attack' tank. :p

Anyway, the rail tank is a real killer. Kills enemy tanks quickly, and has a cool looking energy trail when it fires too boot. Great job on the fx. Worth every penny to build them, in my opinion.

Good luck with the doctor. I hate going to the doctor. Always sitting forever in the waiting room. If you're scheduled for a 9am appointment then that's when you should be able to be seen. Not spend an hour waiting, and end up being seen at 10am (if you're lucky).

I went to the doctors office one time, and had a two and a half hour wait. If those mothers were that far behind in their schedule, or that overbooked that day, then I would have preferred them to call me and reschedule my appointment, than to have me wait out there sitting that long. All of that just for the doctor to talk to me for less than five minutes, not even examine me, and to renew my pain meds for my healing hip back then. H*** I could have phoned that visit in from the comfort of my home. Oh well.

reminds me of the time when me and my mum went into an opticians near a mc donalds to get my glasses and to have an eye test; upon entering i noticed that all the staff were women that looked only a couple of years out of their teens running the joint and i expected swift service as usual but (*sarcasm*) NO!
2 hours and 22 minutes later it was all over

That's a long wait. I ended up spending the entire day at the hospital - well, until half past 2. On the other hand, i got the day of school, so, all's well that ends well. As they say. :p
And you know what makes it worse? That day was my birthday. At least i found an amusing smiley - ;) cool huh?
Anywho, Bob is right, Rail Tanks are awesome - i very much enjoy the way they can actually take out a tank in a single hit. But against Hard Armies (of GLA) they get overwhelmed by numbers - its like sixteen scorpions to one rail tank. And then just when it seems your'e winning they fire those bloody SCUD launchers at you... :) they should be toned down a bit (SCUD launchers - not Rail tanks.) Man, i hate the GLA. They're are so annoying...
Of course I don't look busy; I did it right the first time.

my mate went into Laten hospital several miles away from where i live with a broken wrist which they made him wait for 10 minutes in the waiting room and it was causing much pain when it would of fallen in the emergancy catergory (slow hospital staff :umad: )

3-4 rail tanks with heroic status handles better and especially Vs the tank gen's emperor's which are like WOW for armour being upgraded overlords and all...

the sw gen's GGAMS are actually really, really fun to play with since their missiles send vehs like toxin tractors when fighting hard toxin gen on gen challenge when he makes this huge never ending line of vehs and they can send all of them quite literally over the place if in groups of 4 or more

I totally agree. That combined with a few stealth fighters with bunker busters - it's hell down there. :umad: I find it most amusing. I can't believe i used to think GGAM's were crap. How wrong i was.
Another piece of good news, i got to take my sling off (eventually). It was really annoying, especially when you consider that it was on my left hand and i'm left handed. Still, it's all in the past.

Actually, i didn't get a cast. Just a bandage. And they didn't even give me that! Ah well. I take the bandage off for the last time on Saturday (25th) though. Sorry to get all your hopes up.
However, if i did have a cast i'm sure it would be itchy.
;) what a great smiley this is. I just can't get over it ;) That's wierd.
In conclusion, Lefty's away!! *thrusts left hand in the air and takes off*

the best i've ever had is just a tubigrip for my leg since my mum just got a box of them and used them instead of a doctor

2 battle trucks with 4 fundies and 4 stinger infantry will reak havoc against a wide variety of units
toxin gen battle buses with al quedas toxin troopers and rpg infantry are dangerous in many senses of the word

nuke gen devestators with/or uber lords are extremly, extremly powerful infact - when combined they make the tank gen's tanks seem more like WW2 tanks Vs modern day tanks
except it's nuclear age tanks Vs advanced tanks

infantry gen attack outposts with infantry added according to taste is his spear head

I suppose i could be considered lucky, but you have to think - if i was lucky would i have got the injury in the first place?

I totally agree Sath, devestators are awesome. Only problem is their total lack of range. That reminds me though, in the ShellMap (the one that plays behind the menu) there's that devestator on the side of the US/Chinese base but it never shoots at all the guys running around below it cos it's out of range. All it does is attract the occasional missile from passing rocket buggys.

Both battle buses and trucks are excellent also. Problem with fundies is that they take so long to build. Same with stinger guys. With the chinese i love putting flamer dudes in transports and just driving past burning people. It's funny. Also they're good vs. buildings.

Yeah well you should like it more once I get done with a new model . But the Uberlord has it's flaws in 8.0, it will be moving more slowly, and a longer wait time between shots. Missiles will actually either be removed, and then it will get a missile turret instead of the bays, or the bays might actually stay and it could get another upgrade like the other overlords.
