Here's a couple, The Akula II attack submarine (Hk Sub for Chinese). The Su-37 (High-Tech Interceptor for Chinese), the Stryker (Better Alternative to the U.S Bradley), and finally the Mi-24 Hind for the GLA (Functions like an Helix, but has the skin of Mi-24 (Heck even they have to have air support sometimes).

I think that for regular USA and USA Airforce general you should have the A-10 Warthog availible to be built in the airfields. I think you should replace the diamond shaped aricraft for the airforce general with the A-10 Warthog (the one with missles that are more powerful than a raptors) and just add in the A-10 for the USA side without replacing any aircraft. Also removed the generals promotion for the A-10 airstrike. I would love to see this, as they are my favourite aircraft in the game.

No, because I like the dive that they do, and if you have the plane controlable it wont do that dive, so it wont be buildable.

I don't necessarily mean "controllable". I mean you can build it in your airfield, and just select a target on the map. It will then fly out of the air field and attack the unit and return to base. You can't move it around, only select a target like any other plane. I'm sure that could be programmable.

How about addint the new highly experimental A-20 annihilator it looks like a heavily modified A-10 and it kicks serious rear or if not both the A-10 strike and buldible A-10 kuz I love those awesome tank slaughters.

That is controlable, and it requires an OCL to make the A-10 to do its dive, and since you can't generate an OCL when it takes off and then one for the returning version, this isn't gonna happen.

I read about the A-20 somewhere but it is impossible to find a picture and the only A-20 you can find is an old WW II bomber type (search google for A-20 youll see). But besides how about a Raptor equiped with lasers and not what you are thinking, just read it's on popularscience.com they are pretty sweet.

It was designed and tested mainly by Boeing, so it would be at skunkworks somewhere in the desert over in the west. It is mostly underground, my unkle works there as an aircraft engineer he helphd build the B-2 but he is not allowed to talk about it much, (or at all)

Actually, EA Games wanted to make the raptor, stealth fighter, and comanche laser units, they even had the voices for it. So, perhaps Vg could improve on it a little, eh? :rolleyes:

I looked at a mod website that was going to essentially make every single beta aspect of ZH come back, among other tweaks. And no, it wasn't Pro:Gen. Now I remember, it was command imperium.

This is kind of off topic, but can someone list all of the new tech buildings availible, and explain what they do. Also I read the there will be a tech navy in 8.0. On each water map, will there be a tech naval yard for each base. Also can they be destroyed by say an artillery barrage or other weapon like that? What units will both the tech naval yard and tech airfield offer? I know about the ocelot and USA helicopter.

Well lets see. The tech structures that PR in version 7.0 adds:

1.) Tech SAM site - An excellent anti-air structure that kills bugs dead. Raid anyone? ^_^


2.) Tech Dozer Bay - Builds dozers from all sides and generals, except militia.


3.) Tech Airfield - This two slot airfield gives (depending on which side your playing) additional aircraft that is typically not found in the game.

USA:

Sea Devil Helicopter - This great looking helo is basically acts like a Chinook, but is armed with a machine gun on the front. As beautiful as the skin of this is, it's reportedly to be removed from version 8.0. :(

The Ocelot - Which you already know about.

China:

MIG-36 Renegade - 'The MIG-36 Renegade is a fast agile fighter/bomber, while it's bombs aren't the heavies it will deal medium damage to ground units, while the missiles can shoot at air and ground dealing more damage vs. armor. This aircraft is available from the Tech_Airfield.'

GLA:

Chemical Sprayer - Self explanatory.
Flaker - Fires 6 bursts of flack at a time.
Bomber - Drops four almost like cluster bomblets. Not very accurate but a nice little blast.

4.) Tech Power plant - This small nuke reactor adds 10pts of power. (Who here thinks that should be more?)

New for 8.0 (or future versions) That I know of (Vanguard may explain further in the future):

Tech GPS station - 'It's going to be a tech building ... and it will only reveal structures of type FS_FACTORY, which means Structure and unit that has that KindOf will show on the radar.'

Tech Hurricane Cannon - ? (I don't have a description on this one)

Tech Naval Yard. I would guess that it will have the same type of units that the buildable navy in 6.0 had (but smaller in size perhaps), with new items such as subs (U.S. & China), Corvette (U.S.), and possibly hovercraft (U.S., China?).

Tech Research Lab - Top secret. Vanguard would tell you. But then he'd have to kill you. :p

As with all tech structures, placement on maps is at the discretion of the map builders that build the maps. You also have the option to go into your favorite maps (using the world builder program that comes with your game) and place them on maps yourself. Just keep in mind that you can't redistribute the map to the public claiming it as your own creation or anything. And that if you play someone online, YOU BOTH must have the same modified map. If his doesn't have the exact same modifications as yours it won't play. You must transfer the modified version to his system before the game will start properly.

Tech structures may be damaged or destroyed by arty barrage, so I'm not really following what your asking about this one.

Thanks, that helps a lot. So I can go into World Builder and upload the default maps and place tech same sites in each base and other tech buildings? Is this difficult? You will have to tell me how, lol. What I meant by the artillery barrage is that say you capture a tech navy base (when 8.0 comes out) and it gets destroyed. You can no longer build the naval forces which I would like to build. I think maybe there should be a regular naval base, like there is an airfield, and build a tech naval base for units you normally you wouldn't see in the game (like the tech airfield). This way you can always have naval forces.
