I've been wondering how other people feel about this. I personally do support no-cd hacks for any game, as with my busy schedule I can play more games this way. So place your vote, and leave some comments if you like.

There very handy for older games, when the CD has been bashed about a few times.

Most games have a no-CD hack, so i don't see why thay bother adding CD protection anymore.

Some games such as UT2004 have an official no-CD...thingy (can't call it hack) actually in the patch, so I expect they are OK....

You could re-name the old file, before installing the no-cd. Then you can re-name it back when a patch comes out.

Hell yes, they're very useful.
But because the way non-official ones are made, you hve to reinstall the game from scratch every time a company patches the game.

When you think a game isn't going to be patched again and its about 11 at night you don't think of that ;)

Halo patched fine with a No-CD installed, well, I don't see any reason to oppose them and it's impossible to stop them being used.

Your excused... and I may just create a "BAD EA" thread in this forum someday to let the world come in and complain about EA... I think it would be fun many people might see it just as annoying.
