How are you gonna deal with APCs and the like?
There aren't any controllable APCs in EAW and AFAIK there is no code that could make them work.
How are you gonna code them?
AT-AT like, so the transports can spawn squads?
Or they are a part of the squad that is "disabled" when it comes out of the transport and the Infantry squads have an ability that works like Chewie's vehicle take over and when they dis-embark the vehicle is not destroyed but it sits there idle (obviously the enemy vehicles are immune to the embark ability)?

Thats a good point actually, if nothing else works, we can just do it like the AT-ATs.

Perhaps you can simply 'attach' the soldiers (codewise) to the APC like Tarkin gets attached to a Star Destroyer?

or...have them as reinforcements that can only spawn near a transport unit, would certainly work for the necrons at least

its not that hard the sith war IA2 low and SGsumit all have flying ships that can do that why not eg the LAAT so it sundnt be that hard to do a ground one that can do it

The new EAW expansion has units that can transoport. If they are using the same game engine, it should be possible to do so in this mod. SO PROCLAIMS THE ALL MIGHTY MACHINE SPIRIT! USE MORE VINDICATORS!
