Final Front: Iris Offensive have taken some more time out to answer more community questions. The highlight of this week's Q&A is the confirmation of 12 heroes.

Q: Who are the heroes for each race?

A: So far, we've only confirmed 4 heroes for each race.

Earth:

SG-1: SG-1 will be a ground infantry hero. When you send them through the gate, they will be controlled like Han and Chewie in EAW standard, you can move each unit around individually and they have special abilities based on their own

Walter: the one officer who's been at the SGC from the beginning and not had a character shield, Master Seargent Walter Harriman is the one officer you WANT to take into battle to ensure victory, fast, nimble, proficient with all things technical, Walter boosts the soldiers and ships around him above and beyond the call of duty.

USAF Prometheus: The First of the Earth interplanetary defence vessels, the Prometheus is a testbed for Goa'uld and Asgard technology to funciton together. It's faster then it's BC-304 cousins.

USAF Daedalus: The first of the BC-304s, this ship is incredibly fast and able to take on multiple enemy ships while standing it's ground. Colonel Cadwell improves the tactical resilience of all ships in his fleet.

Goa'uld

Anubis: Where would an SG-1 game be without the baddest enemy ever to face the team? Anubis is a infantry/space hero. He camps out on the most powerful ship in his fleet offering 25% bonuses to anyone who happens to be nearby. When on the ground, Anubis can kill groups of infantry using his "freaky ancient powers", but not without suffering a health loss for each attempt as the Ancient attempt to stop him from doing so. Anubis also offers "clarvoience" on the battlefield, revealing the entire map whether you're guarenteed to win or lose.

Ba'al: Anubis' right hand man and the Goa'uld who can do all things Gatey. He travels on his personal Ha'tak which offers technical advantages that most other Ha'taks dont have.

Khalek: Anubis son, for a lack of better terms, Khalek is the ultimate killing machine on the battlefield, using near-acended powers in his battles, he can fight longer, harder and stronger then any other soldier on the battlefield.

Nereus: A fat Goa'uld who has the habit of being a genius when it comes to technology, boosts production by 25% and research by 25% in his locations.

Asgard:

Thor: Supreme Commander of the Asgard fleet and has his own private warship to oversee the battlefield, when on planetary engagements, Thor has a wide range of abilites at his disposal, including calling down transporter disintegration assaults on enemy forces. Although he prefers to avoid ground combat assaults.

Heimdall: An Asgard scientist who works on a variety of the Asgard's key projects, including solving the Cloning crisis and the Ancient Repository. He likes to stay on powerful ships and has no ground presense.

Kvasir: Kvasir is the production booster of the Asgard fleet, he can get construction programs back on track with the minimum of hassel.

Freyr: A proud and strong warrior, like Thor, often seen as the 2IC of the Asgard fleet. Freyr's personal O'neill class warship sports advances that most do not have.

You may notice that we havent specified many abilites beyond a vague description, this is because we dont know which special weapons and features we will be able to use, these descriptions give you an example of what we intend the characters to do. As for the Wraith, we're still working on what heroes we can use for them.
