Right now I'm editting the Skirmish/Multiplayer Scripts. Anything anyone wants to see specifically? For example, I just made it so that the screen shakes when a unit is destroyed, cuz I'm trying to give the mod "feeling."

Instead of have it shake when a unit dies, it should shake when there is a big explosion. This would require linking it to the projectile in some way.

looks like I'm gonna have to take it off the "insane" setting then ;)2

Detail, this is editting done in the scripts, I'm pretty sure you don't need to do linking to a projectile.

You raise a good point about not for everything. Maybe just for buildings and heavy bombs?

yeah buildings and heavy bombs is good :shiftee:

is it possible to do day\night changes?

or would each map have to be changed to do it?

You mean make it gradually shift from day to night? I remember hearing you can't, but it doesn't seem that tough. I'll look into it

yeah day\night transitions :shiftee:

that is a feature I always loved on maps for RA2\Yuri and evan TS. adds a nice feel to the game :D

If you can make them change at a decant speed, not too fast but not have to wait forever for them to change.. something like 10-15 minutes or something..

The only thing I liked about WC3 was that the night elves were invisible.

Maybe, I can code that into the game, and make the Aerosian F-17 Defiant stealthed (Constantly, even when firing) at night, but vulnerable in day. Same with Ebres special forces. Hmm....this has possibilities :shiftee:

would definatekly add more stratergy with units that are stealthed at night :shiftee:

if possible have some more vulnerable at night or day, at night most units have a decreased range, make it somewhat realistic :D

if its possible that is... lol

That would be awesome. Decreased range and accuracy at night, unless you get night vision specs. I doubt I'd be able to get that in before a public release, but it would definitley make my mod different then others.

I just glanced through the multiplayerscripts and there doesn't appear to be anything like it in there. There were a few things that I'll have to investigate though...
