Not really. IE is the only browser still incapable of properly displaying DIV/CSS aligned layouts. Everything else (Opera, Firefox, Mozilla, Netscape, Safari, etc) do not have that kind of issue. Not saying that any browser is better for it but it does seem that if you're going to brag about having a 'leet' browser, it should at least conform to industry standards.

If FF doesn't load such code, I don't see IE having much more chance. They're two different tools to do the same job.

In the same way Ad-Aware and Spybot are. You don't get wars over 'zomg which is the bett0r spywarekill0r'!

Some use one, others prefer the other. Still others use both. If a situation arises where FF doesn't load the page, but IE does, then yes, I'll copy the URL to IE.

Generally, I'll stick with Firefox.

I'll solve the spyware killer thing right now: Pest Patrol > all

If a situation arises where FF doesn't load the page, but IE does, then yes, I'll copy the URL to IE.

This is why we have the "Load Page With IE" extension. :p

Yeah well...I don't even need that. The cases where such are necessary are so remote that it's actually less hassle to open an IE window.

Same as no bookmarking. I just don't need it..

I do it now and then. Sometimes it can be useful to see if the page made can be loaded properly in both browsers. Or just to see how well this adblocker plugin for FF my classmate installed on my laptop works.

How is IE the superior browser? It's a bit lower system reqs, but there's nothing really else that blows one's bollocks off.

But, we are, of course, entitled to our opinion. Just because I happen to find FF quite amenable doesn't make me a fanboy..

I think the sheer fact that it works is enough to declare it the superior browser over firefox, which can't even load a majority ofpages properly

You need to pull your head out of your biased ass. When was the last time you used Firefox, when it was Alpha 0.5? Opera and IE screw up way more pages than Firefox does, especially Opera.

Oh, and another thing. There was a section on that Firefox bash you posted that claimed that Firefox had over 150 uncorrected vulnerabilities. Not only is that complete bullshit, but it also claimed that Opera had none. Now, I'm no security expert, but I do have the common sense to know that NOTHING is perfect. Just because you havn't found a vulnerability, does not mean it isn't there.

OLD SIG
When history witnesses a great change Razgriz reveals itself,
first as a dark demon. As a demon it uses it power to rain death upon the land,
and then it dies. However after a period of slumber Razgriz returns
As the demon sleeps, man turns on man.
Its own blood, and madness soon cover the earth.
From the depths of despair awaken the Razgriz.
Its raven wings ablaze in majestic light.
Amidst the eternal waves of time
From a ripple of change shall the storm rise
Out of the abyss peer the eyes of a demon
Behold the Razgriz, its wings of black sheath
The demon soars through the dark skies
Fear and Death trail its shadow beneath
Until Men united wield a hallowed sabre
In Final Reckoning, the beast is slain.
Razgriz intrerpretation

Actually, Hrod, I've found that Oprea is pretty good at rendering pages properly. It's not nearly as bad as IE in suckiness.

I have Opera installed. I used it for a good while, but it didn't load several of my main pages correctly (digg.com). They may have fixed it with the newer version, but I'm just going to stick with Firefox. I've got it the way I like it now.

I'd blame Digg over Opera. If you can't build a page that works in the major browsers you shouldn't be designing web pages.

Well, when it comes to writing an expository essay about counter-insurgent tactics, I'm of the old school. First you tell them how you're going to kill them. Then you kill them. Then you tell them how you just killed them.

I should add that Digg sucks anyway so you shouldn't be wasting your time on it.
