- top-right: old forest with bombadil creep
- top-left: fangorn with ent creeps
- top-center: mountains with some eagle creeps

He is not done, that is why it looks bland. If you look at the link, it says: blablabla\early1.jpg so it is very early on in the development. Looks awesome, one thing I suggest to impress the EA people is make some mountains. Then put snow texture on the very top, some rocky snow a little lower than the snow, then cliff texture with a dab of snow on the mountain. Good luck!

Oh, and a name that would be fitting here would actually be The Battle for Middle-Earth. Or the War of the Ring. Because thats what it is.

One ring to rule them all would be a good name too.

I could go with the ring idea, but then the player who kills gollum will have to win immediately, and of course gollum should only appear after some time and for very short periods

yes, i will create mountains, at the top. i'm actually fairly good at shaping terrain, if i may say so

ok, after thinking for a while, i don't like my idea any more. i'm going to keep the map, but i want to change the objectives and add some more story. i could really use some help here.

you will be mentioned in the credits, of course

how about this:

there are several capturable buildings (outposts/inns) equally spread troughout the map. each of them is guarded by some strong creeps
the first player to caputure (and keep) 3 buildings will get access to the middle island. there they must do something (don't know yet) and finally get the ring to achieve victory

the only thing i'm a bit worried about is that mordor will have a big disadvantage

edit:

i'd really like to do a CreateAHero co-op map, but i can't think of anything original

Whats the name of the map? The one Im working on is called "Trial by Fire". Dont ask why, it sounds catchy though  A good name is one of the keys to a popular map! Sorry if this is stupid, but how will your Idea be a Disadvantage to mordor? It sounds neat! BTW, I had an Idea for a capture tha flag map, seeing as Flags are not attached to the Outposts :p

ok, i just got a nice idea. there are 8 players, all with their create-a-hero. they must simply defeat characters (like sauron/galadriel) and capture their flags within a certain time limit to complete the map.
sounds cool?

Dang it! That was kind of my idea. I explained it in an earlier post, but didnt post it  My idea was to have your CAH, then you travel throught the land killing Legendary Figures. Each Kill is worth a certain amount of points, depending on the power of the enemy. Like Goblinking is worth one, and Sauron is worth 5. First one to ten wins!

EDIT: And a quick picture of the Goblin Realm: *Still unfinished*

I like the cooperative idea but I think you should have objectives that unlock certain areas. Maybe the final area could be against galdariel/sauron. There could also be a time limit in each area if you wanted.
