[Daeda]

One of the best bands of the 90s. This progressive Rock group is one of the few acts that can actually make music an art. People often compare them to Pink Floyd and though Tool is a lot heavier, those people are right. Definatelly one of the best bands currently walking this earths surface, but due to their extremely long songs not heard about unless someone tells you about them.

Tool's Music is probably one of the hardest to listen to, because it is so complex. But if you can listen to this, then you listen to an artistic for of music. Their albums Undertow, Aenima and Lateralus are all masterpeaces, and the leaked version of 10,000 Days sounds great. Their lyrics often have a deeper phylosophical meaning, making the band hard to understand. Their 2001 album lateralus for example has a hidden order to play the tracks, following a fibonaci sequence and a spiral order (http://www.bofe.org/overthinking.htm)

Recently 10,000 Days, the album that will be out 2 May, leaked over the internet, though Tool has often stated they where making a fake album to fool everyone. Meaning that nobody is entirely sure wether this album is the real new Tool or not. I downloaded it, though im certainly gonna buy it (no im not posting links offcource) and it only made me more curious wether this is a real album or a fake one. Cant wait for next week. If you like Rock music, definatelly check this band.

Tool and Perfect Circle. Maynard is just such an awesome singer. My wife won't let me listen to Judas. She's more religious.

But Tool totally rocks.

Maynard hates christianity, yes, but he has his reasons.

His mother was paralysed for over 27 years (10,000 Days refers to this) and even though that she still praised God. Keenan could not understand this and hates religion because it clearly abbandonned his mother and still she believed. The Songs Judith (Judith Marie Keenan) of A Perfect Circle and Wings For Marie (pt1)/ 10,000 Days (Wings pt 2) on Tool's 10,000 Days refer to this. its kind of a sad story really.
