OMG EMO!

Yes. Emo.
A music style which is hated by the masses and adorn by the emo kids.
Well, not only emo kids, because I listen it to but hell I ain't no emo. :p

Emo music and "Pop Punk" (the title itself should be a paradox really) are two of the new streams of the old Punk music.

Pop punk:
PANIC! At the Disco
Unwritten Law
We Are Scientists
Sugarcult
Mest (Haven't listened to them)
Fall Out Boy (same)
Green Day (same, can't stand em)

Emo:
My Chemical Romance
The Used
Dashboard Confessional
Good Charlotte (Haven't listened)

Emocore (harder Emo):
Papa Roach

I agree on a couple of bands who are spoiled by bad fans...Good Charlotte weren't too terrible. A couple of their songs were great, infact.

You could probably add Hoobastank here, though again, they have two fantastic songs, but everything else they ever did was mediocre at best.

Wouldnt add Papa Roach to emo though.. the Emo wave is too new for that. PR probably is more "nu-metal" for the lack of a better definition

I did say a couple. And some bands aren't good live...besides, EVERYONE gets bottled in Leeds. It's LEEDS, after all :p You don't have to be up on stage to get a bottle thrown at you o.0

and i like a few of hoobastanks songs, there song "pieces" got me into them.

The Reason and Crawling in the Dark are their two best. Same Direction isn't bad. The rest are pretty mediocre.

I thnik there should be a correction for Green Day.

Back in the day, they didn't qualify as said "Pop Punk."

Back in the day when they were good.

Here we go again..

I haven't heard any song by Green Day. I have a classmate who likes them though, but I don't think it'd be my kind of music.

The only good song by Green Day, is in my opinion Basket Case, from back in the day. When I say good, I actually mean doesn't suck.

OLD SIG
When history witnesses a great change Razgriz reveals itself,
first as a dark demon. As a demon it uses it power to rain death upon the land,
and then it dies. However after a period of slumber Razgriz returns
As the demon sleeps, man turns on man.
Its own blood, and madness soon cover the earth.
From the depths of despair awaken the Razgriz.
Its raven wings ablaze in majestic light.
Amidst the eternal waves of time
From a ripple of change shall the storm rise
Out of the abyss peer the eyes of a demon
Behold the Razgriz, its wings of black sheath
The demon soars through the dark skies
Fear and Death trail its shadow beneath
Until Men united wield a hallowed sabre
In Final Reckoning, the beast is slain.
Razgriz intrerpretation

What I mean is back old. Like Green Day in '96. 'Twas a hell of a lot better back then.

And that's saying something.

Greenday aren't fantabulous, I'll agree. Two good songs. Much like Hoobastank. Their good two songs are utterly amazing and godly, everything else just sucks of theirs.

After hearing The Reason and Crawling In The Dark, one would have hoped Hoobastank were better than they are. After hearing Boulevard, one would have hoped the same of Greenday.

But it just wasn't to be. The rest of the music of both others is incredibly naff.

I'd have to agree. But check out some '96 stuff. It's alot better than shit now. It alos points out another band.

Weezer

Now? They suck (In my opinion)

However, the Blue Album and Pinkerton were awesome albums, but like so many bands before them, Weezer's gotten to pop.

I hate Panic At The Disco - I did so from downloading their album having never heard them by accidentally finding them in a search for another album. I've never liked Green Day - even when they weren't one of the bands everyone loves to hate.
Sugarcult and Fall Out Boy have the odd decent song. I like My Chemical Romance, The Used, Dashboard Confessional. Good Charlotte I liked... one song or so by. Papa Roach have made like, six or seven at most good songs since infest.
