I hate waving. And people with stupid handflapping waves. Just feel like asking "is there something wrong with your fingers or are you doing that volenterily?" Then I'd probably get slapped. I hate getting slapped.

Taffy: A sweet, chewy candy of molasses or brown sugar boiled until very thick and then pulled with the hands or by machine until the candy is glossy and holds its shape.
I hate it when people pick apart my spelling and grammer. I KNOW im not very good at it but i hate being reminded every 5 seconds >.<

I also hate when you're looking for something, people say "It'll be in the last place you look." Of course it will be, cos when I find it I'll stop looking. Can you be any more helpfull?
I hate it when people say "An apple a day keeps the Dentist away", yea, right it does. I've managed to keep dentists away for 5 years now without the help of everyday fruits.

I hate people who don't have any humour and who are taking themselves seriously all the time, so if they have just finished some big speech they launched themselves into and you add your little tension-easing joke they just look at you like your shit
And I hate people who keep talking about feelings and respect, or respect for their feelings:
"I respect your opinion, do you respect my opinion? , you're lacking respect, please respect my feelings, I'd like respect for my view, as a sign of respect blablabla"
yes dear, just get on with it or get over it, you're free to have an opinion so don't keep reminding us like we're all some sort of opinion nazis (I have so far never in my life tried to force any opinion on anyone).

Thankyou, Killakanz, for restoring this thread to its glory. Also thank you, Wilmet
I just don't fucking understand why managers are such complete cunts. I swear, it must be in the job description: "Managers must not be amenable or amiable in any way. If you aren't a twat, you're fired." I swear, you try talking to mine and all he does is ignore you, or responds in the most obnoxious way available.
So I've taken to doing the same thing. I've begun to be just as bad as them, and to keep reminding them that the job is shit to me. You're supposed to ask managers to put your holidays on the board. Well, the managers have been ignoring my notes to them (the head honcho, Alan, the biggest cockface you could ever have the misfortune of meeting), so I figure: fuck this. If you aren't able to notice my notes asking, you won't notice my amendments of the board TELLING. I don't need this stress 3weeks before exams, thank you very fucking much.
I can't wait till uni, since i can leave that place and I can tell him what a complete shit-faced knobgoblin he is.
Fucking wankers. If you work at Co-Op Cudworth, and your name is Alan, Mick or Paul, know first-hand that Ash hates you, your mothers, fathers, husbands (they're not straight, that's for sure..however calling them gay is definitely an insult to the gay community), children (poor bastards), DNA molecules, ancestors 500 years prior and generally everything that you've ever touched or fondled.
I hope you three die of some fucking flesh-eating disease like anthrax, or, better yet, AIDS.

his favourite saying appears to be "Remember, attitude changes everything"
he also quotes himself during his power point presentations, so you have this great pseudo philosophical line between brackets on a blank page, like "Together we can reach new levels of excellenceyadiyadiyada..." and it's signed "Douglas" under it.
but my boss at a job last year was the same kind as you describe full of himself because he was a movie director. He owns a small company (3 people and a VC camera) and thinks he's Spielberg, dunno if you can find "last night on earth" on the net but he's the guy who made it (forget B movie, more like Z), his recent film is "the room"which is a much more publicised atm and is apparently doing ok.

There in fact was something I disliked but I didn't want to put it there directly, so I put it more indirectly.Well that was a topic killer. Nearly everything from mindslaps down.
Bosses/managers can really be bastards so it seems from your stories. I don't have a job so I can't talk with ya there, but reading here gives some impression. Glad that you won't have to be there that long anymore. Will you get another job when you're at uni?

What exactly it was about would be partially breaking the rules of this thread, so I won't do that.

I hate it when people stick a cigaretee behind their ear for "later" and then wonder around for most of the day with it there, like some sort of fashion accessory. To people who do that: Don't. It looks stupid, especially when you forget it's there!! Put the bloody thing in a pocket.
Good glory, I'm quoting that bastard for truth!

I dislike it that I just found out I'm supposed to fit 107 hours (= my estimation of how long it takes) of calculating time for simulations in roughly 12 hours. Does anyone have a time machine ..
