I am proud to announce the beginning of a new mod, Galaxy at War: The Clone Wars. This mod is a total conversion for BFME II featuring the first three Star Wars movies. We have been working on it in secret for a little over a month, and are ready to announce it. We are very far along in progress, with about 1/4 of the already done. I will be taking beta testers very soon, as the CIS faction has only a few things left for it to be complete. As our site is not up yet, due to finals, I will only release a small teaser. The first update will happen on our site.

Our mod team consists of me, Rockon12, morgoth, and a mapper who doesnt frequent T3A. I am still searching for a coder who owns BFME II, and a quality animator (high priority). We have support from the Imperial Assault II mod for Empire at War, which I work for.

The mod will change almost everything possible to change, including livingmap, UI, music, sounds, and adds a space dimension. The space battles will be 3-d, so ships will not be flying around all on the same level.

Keep in mind that this is just a teaser, much more is already done:

Read my post again. The stuff you see on Imperial Assault II is my work. I work for them as their main skinner. If you go to the update where they have that pic, it says: Modelled and skinned by Master Windu. And if you think the render isnt rightly mine, then how do you think I got their mod tag off the pic?

Wow Im amazed and I kinda expected this because you showed us that picture with that robot on that one topic about water problems. And when you start needing beta testers I would be glad to help.

Thanks. I'm not taking beta testers yet (I have gotten requests already :dry: ) but I will in about three weeks. Just for your info, that render was made about three weeks ago, and we have done tons more since then. Look forward to more good stuff.

SDK, I warn you, its pretty difficult coding :dry: . But code me up a unit that has a turret that moves, shoots a projectile out of two spots, and has a successful blaster flash and youre in. If you need files (say the blaster flash) I will email them to you.

Thanks everyone. Just a T3A exclusive: the Tank Droid. Have to say it is probably one of the best skins of my career. Note that the last two pictures are the unfinished version, so they will look a bit different. And I am quite proud of myself, everything in the skin is drawn by hand, from scratch. :lol:

I'm an old pro with turret logic, so if there are any issues I can help some coding the turrets.

Thought you might want to know that there's an Armed Assault mod called Galaxy at War. I'm sure nobody would be too offended or anything, but they've been around for longer than BFME 2's been out, so you might want to at least drop them a line as a courtesy.
