game-mod.net is the domain for The Hive and all its hostees.
creative-project.net is the domain for ______ and all its hostees.

The new creative-project.net hosting service needs a name. If you think you have a name, which could be used for hosting odd projects, make a shout.

Remeber to be creative. Names like "The Cluster" wont go far ;)2
You does not have to use "The " in the name.

In a weeks time there will be a vote to see which suggested name is most popular.

Keeping with the animal theme, I guess you could call it The Nest, as that makes some sense. Other than that, no ideas from me.

Well, when it comes to writing an expository essay about counter-insurgent tactics, I'm of the old school. First you tell them how you're going to kill them. Then you kill them. Then you tell them how you just killed them.

Too cute! | Server Status: If you can read this, it's up |

A good thing to start with but as far as I know "creative project" is not only auditorily based, isn't it?

The Precinct?
Natus 3.4

Corrupt program now requires constant reboots and does not function at all in majority of instances. Designed with a web browser component to replace AOL, it has exceeded our expectations by being more crashy and unreliable and with worse tech support. We didn't think it was physically possible! A general product recall is advised; when it does function it seems to require background processes Girl 0.1Beta to stave off further crashes. Will someone PLEASE remove that code, and insert Backbone 1.9 in its place? That's assuming we even bother to continue this prog.

More importantly... we're going to develop a new set of rules so that certain people cannot steal certain other people's avatars

I'll toss out 'the Dojo' and 'Andromeda', not because I like the fact that they can relate to something like this, but because-- why the hell not?

Now give that guy a warning for stealing my avatar.

Meh it's all good, didn't even bother to check the dimensions and name and what not, just jumped on a chance to rant (long day). Change it if you wish, otherwise you're welcome to keep it... it only makes sense that such a badass image would be used by more than one person :thumb:

No problemo, doesn't affect me any. Just a number =)

What bout, 'the Matrix'. Horribly original, I know. 'Brink' maybe, like you're pushing creativity to its limits?

And I thought Locus was Latin for place... ugh... whatever, I don't even know Latin, lol.

That's true. Locus = place not toilet. It looks a bit like "location"

Some good suggestions in here

I'd prefer an English word. Trying to make a look and style for a Latin word would be very hard.

We'll hold the vote at the weekend.
