As a lot of you europeans might know the reason to hate european music is gonna be next saturday: the songfestival. Now obviously as mostly hardrock listeners, we dont like it there and we'd rather see it get fucked up. Well this is our chance: Lordi

Lets all vote for them Saturday!

I agree :p eurovision is the most godawful display of talentless trash or 1 hit wonders, who get propped up by groups supporting each other depending from where they come from (nordic countries all voting for each other for example). At last one country has decided to have a laugh and send an original group, they have my vote !!
apologising to the world on behalf of my country for the existence of Brussel sprouts and Jean Claude Vandame

work is sacred...so don't go near it.

Australia tried to get in once... Dunno how they argued they were part of Europe, but they do seem to have 90% of the viewers, tribute bands, and DVD sales
Mind you, is it Germany who's got an Aussie singer this year?

World Domination Status: 2.7%

Meh I think its idiotic that Israel joined in.. they're no part of Europe, rather part of the US..

But Eurovision will probably die within 10 years, west European countries hardly get in anymore, and without their money the event will die.. But since this only produces bad oneday flies it wont matter

The Eurovision has always been a complete bag of toss. England's nil-points was just amusing.

I hope Lordi win. That'll show those dickfaces up. It is full of talentless tosh. Nightwish did a Eurovision once, but that's one of the VERY FEW exceptions to that rule. I won't be watching Eurovision but I will be rooting for Lordi.

I actually think the Lithuanian band wasn't so bad. The rest of what I saw was full of shit, haven't seen all of them though. I'm sure on one thing: the Polish representation was a toss. Didn't have to see it to know.

ARGUMENT FROM CREATION, a.k.a. ARGUMENT FROM PERSONAL INCREDULITY (I)
(1) If evolution is false, then creationism is true, and therefore God exists.
(2) Evolution can't be true, since I lack the mental capacity to understand it; moreover, to accept its truth would cause me to be uncomfortable.
(3) Therefore, God exists.

I didn't understand a word they said and they still sound crappy to me.

They think wearing sluty outfits and dancing like brittney spears will make up for the fact that they fucken suck ass pathetic.

For The Win.

I've never liked the Songfestival much personally, nor do I ever watch it. But it'd be controversial if Lordi wins.

I'd have to agree on point 2 and 3.

Who's Terry Wogan, the English guy who gives comments? Here there's a Dutch one doing that. He had a fun comment @ the UK song.

Lordi's just been on. Surely controversial and better than at least 3/4th of the contestants in the film Daeda linked to earlier.

yeah, i took my mothers cellphone and sent a vote to Lordi on thursday, i'll probably have to sacrifice my own money today to mess things up for the others, even though the norwegian one isnt the worst one...

who would have thought this day would come; voting on some eurosong contest...<shudders>. at least im voting on the greater evil

edit: come on people, vote nr 17!
