Hey, I have that problem too. When I build the $3000 hacker truck (which says there are pre-built hackers that come with it) there are no hackers in it. Also, I was wondering if anyone can help me with a lagging problem I have. I have a laptop, and even in a 1v1 solo play math against AI, the game lags. The requirments for the game are:

- Windows XP, Me, 2000, or 98 (I have Windows XP Pro)
- 800MHz or faster (when plugged in, my laptop has 1500MHz, it is also a Pentium M)
- 128 MB of ram (480 MB I have)
- 8x or faster CD/DVD drive (I don't know where to find that info)
- 1.4 GB of free space (I have the requirements there)
- DirectX 8.1 compatible vidoe card (I don't know where to find that info)
- DirectX 8.1 compatible sound card (I don't know where to find that info either)

When I ran the EAsy System Info thing that came with the game, when I clicked the requirements tab, there were all check marks. So it seems to think that my computer is good enough spec wise, but it still lags in even 1v1 Solo play. I do disable the wireless, and there are no other programs running when I play the game. I have it on the medium resolution in game play. There are no additional checkboxes selected for the detail settings. The particle cap adjustment is all the way to the bottom, and yet it doesn't want to play smoothly. If anyone has any suggestions, please help me out, cause I can only play for about 10 minutes, and the game starts to lag and I have to exit.

Thanks, Caltor

Vanguard removed them in 7.0, so as to limit the number of hackers you can have on the board at the same time. An economic thing.

Ever since that happened, I rarely use the hacker truck anymore.

Oh then change wat it says for it when u chose to buy it so it won't confuse ppl.

I put half of my hackers in the truck and the other half in the center unless i'm the infantry gen then i put them all in the truck.

It's being changed as we speak (or it's already been doen). VG is changing all the tool tips for the units the PR team added that have stuff wrong in any way (grammer, spell, misleading info...)

I wouldn't. The truck gives people the option to have a mobile hacker force, if they want one. I would hate to take a strategic option like that out of the game.

That's my two pennies worth of thoughts on the subject. ;)

or when you hit your head on the ceiling that is the hacker limit
When someone opens up a can of kick butt, then the best thing to do is to open up a can of baked beans

Remember! If you smoke weed you’ll get high, if you smoke a reed you would die

Apparently Donkeys kill more people every year than air-plane crashes

Actually they will get a new ability that will make them useful again. The hackers contained inside will be able to hack vehicles outside disabling them and also hack at the sametime.

It be a truck, not a tank.

Although, some sort of armored hacker APC / mobile command post isn't a bad thought for use, instead of a truck.

Although I think we should up the build limit on hackers if we plan on using them like this.
