So where are you all going to uni when you go? And what are you studying?

Personally i'm torn between Swansea and Edinburgh to do a joint honours in history and politics, or ancient history and politics with possibly a PhD to follow in history.

Swansea looks cooler but i'd rather live in Edinburgh. Not decided yet.

So, anyway, what about you?

I'm already at University (University of Bristol), just about to finish my 3rd year of 4 (MSci Physics with Astrophysics). At the end of the day, most university courses are the same no matter where you study, so just go somewhere that you'll think you'll enjoy, doing a subject you want to do.

Scotland is indeed a gorgeous place and Edinburgh has other stuff like the film festival and more music and stuff.

On the other hand, Swansea has a slightly better course, and apparently i've "GOT" to go there to see sir Ralph someoneorother who will "absolutely love" me. "He likes boys" apparently. (Come on Ash, here's your chance for revenge after the dentist jokes.)

I study chemistry at the University of Utrecht, I'm in the second year. And GT is right imo, most important is to choose a study you think you'll like, at a place where you think you'll enjoy it.

Even if for me that means 2 hours of travelling, while the Technical University of Eindhoven is about 10 mins driving (that is, IF you have a driving licence, but my dad has and he works there..) or 20 mins by train and foot, however they had only technical chemistry (something like that) there, not 'normal' chemistry. And I'm really glad I picked Utrecht for I like it there.

I got a nice possibility of studying in GB, probably Edinburgh.

... Where does Tom live? I need to be able to stalk him.

To be frank i've no idea yet ;)

I was thinking webdesign, but I kinda keep leaning away from that somehow. Anyways I need a well paid job and knowledge of a few languages if I am to introduce my "plans" into real life. Anyone got any suggestions? :D

Hastings is the shithole in the south where all the wannabe gangstas come because they couldn't make the real deal in london.

Applied for Canterbury uni to study computing and history joint degree, yeah strange combo but its exactly what i'm studying now. Assuming i get the grades, if not i get a fulltime job elsewhere.

I think I got four years free at the University of Massachusetts due to some standardized tests, so I'll be going there for my Bachelor's, then I'll go on to do some grad work somewhere else. I haven't decided if I want to get my doctorate straight through or wait for a while, its a lot of work, a lot of loans... Either way my major will likely be molecular biology
