I was going to work on the Jap naval units but I’m not really in the mood for such large voxels atm. I’ve been itching to make the T-54 for a while now tho, cant wait to make the AMX-13 & Centurion too  The T-35, Pzkfw III, Matilda, M3 Lee & R35 are at the top of my to do list as well.

Yamato: you can see the deck, are you sure theres enough AA on it?

Firstly, I friggin' love the T-54. Most professional games don't put enough detail into soviet domed tanks to tell a T-54 from a T-64 from a JS III... The fact you have highly accurate and awesome looking voxels of these things is just mind-boggling in awesomeness.

Cock-sucking over, I'm deeply curious as to how you'll impliment the T-35 and M3 Lee weapons systems, considering the Ra2 engine was never meant for multiple turrets or turrets mized with hull cannons. Not to say you can't pull it off, I just want to wet my lips with the secrets of Migeater. ^_^

Yamato: you can see the deck, are you sure theres enough AA on it?

This comment may be true as anything, but it's also a rather sad...

The T-54 I made doesn’t actually have a domed turret. The T-54 was first built in 1946 with a more rounded turret like the Is-4. I wasn’t until 1949 that the T-54 got it’s domed turret that is symbolic of the T-54/55/64 tanks. I know what you mean about the differences or lack of them in some games. TBH I think it cos of lazy modellers, I’ve seen some games where all they have done is reskin a model & then used that for a completely different unit. The Jap tanks in Blitzkrieg are just German light tanks in green camo etc :p

On tanks with multiple turrets I just use the main turret & leave the rest fixed to the hull. I was planning to make such tanks as the M3 & Char B1 deploy & then use the secondary weapon in their hull a bit like the TS tick tank.

Ah, good idea. I would talk to Holy_master if I were you. He managed to use some logic from the seige chopper so that the unit deploys directly into another unit, capable of turning and I believe moving.

Best of luck with the mod.

1,awesome prototype t-54. but is it called "t-54" in 1946? i think it'd have some T-X like name in game. anyway it doesn't matter.

2,yamato is fine, but i can't see it significantly larger than BB Iowa class. it's coz the pic size or it is just not bigger?

3, about the Multi Gun Turrets, it's a good idea to have Char B1 a deployable unit. BUT M3 is different, it lives on its SPEED, isn't it?
so i suggest M3 like this: no turret. it's main gun as a hull gun, and it's smaller turret gun as a Omnifire=yes weapon. as the M3 turret and turret gun is very small, you can't tell whether it's really turning without watching carefully. i think it seems like the M3 in real life better.
and to make it better, you can make the M3 turret as a sector of the M3.vxl, then edit HVA to make it turning left and right while running or firing.

again, Best of luck with the mod.

to Rattuskid: the seige chopper logic you metioned is very interesting! we can finally have something like Transformers and Marcross! :p could you plz post it somewhere?

@LEGO:
1) It was called the T-54 even then (I dont see why it shouldn't of have :p )

2) There is a limit to how big you can make voxels & both are at that limit.

3) Sounds like a good idea

well I thought the Russia tank type number was it designed (or designation finnished year, or entered serviece) year? am I wrong?
(one exeption would be T-34, as it was first developed in 1934, but delayed coz of the Great Purge)

about that Big ships, yes I didn't notice there is a limit. but is the HVA editor also this size limited? how about make it 2 sectors, and fix the HVA to assemble them? then we can have Whatever Big project :p

The designations are not done by year, they are just randomly picked from what ever hasn’t been used at the time. There are a few that do share their designations with the year of their introduction tho.

Your idea with the HVA doesn't work either, it was the fist thing I tried many a year ago.

BTW I removed the spam/flames, I’m running a hardliner policy about this now so anything like that in the future will be immediately deleted.
