I realise I have been away for a while, and you know that I rarely come out of that hole we call the Project Raptor forum, but I speak my mind when I am pestered, what happened a few weeks ago (the moving of the war games forum from the PR forum) while it didn't belong there, I allowed it to be there since it also drew new people to the mod. Moving it would have been fine, but no one actually checked with me to alter the forum, I realise that admins don't usually want to, but I was doing work for that forum specifically a skin, one that I have spent about 2 months on, now since it's not in my forum, I no longer feel the need to work on it hence the reason I have deleted it, since I don't really feel the urge to share something I have spent several months on with a forum that is no longer mine. Some may think I am whining, be my guest, make asses of yourselves, this is supposed to be a community. I would appreciate it that further incursions such as this are atleast passed by the forum leader and "Okayed," before actions are taken. I wont name any names, because you know who you are and I have already given you crap about it.

Just to give you a piece of my mind, I will tell you what I told Smooth, Crave and link, I don't give a damn what your rank on the forum is, if you want to alter my forum, you damn well better ask me, moving the War Games would have been a yes, but I was working on a skin for it for over two months, the people who ran it at the time, had no say in its move, I set that up, not them, I now have reason to believe they arn't deserving of my forum skin and as such it is no longer theirs to get, It's not the fact that it was moved that pisses me off, it's the fact that I had no say in the matter despite that it was in my forum I had it there for a reason, I could have made a new seperate forum when we made it a sub forum, but we didn't. Do what you like with the forum, but I leave you one warning, further incursions into my domain and alterations will result in trouble from me, as said before I don't give a damn what your rank is, I will speak my mind, and right now they really pissed me off, Mastermind already knows how I feel about this, so now I leave you to decide what you want to do. A PM I received. For one thing I haven't a clue what he was on about, and for another, he was bollocking off at me for something I didn't even do. I was ASKED to remove him as moderator, and I obeyed.

I never even moved Wargames to the RPG Guild. It was moved before I was even re-ranked to administrator. The only person I can imagine who did do it would be CodeCat, as he set the RPGG forum up. If you remember, Crave and Smooth, I was a bit hacked off about it at the time.

Quite frankly, I haven't a fucking clue what you're talking about. What exactly am I supposed to have fucking done? Whatever it was, I have never done ANYTHING without being asked to. And the only thing that I've ever been asked to do was remove your moderation power. Which was by Crave or 7th, if I'm not mistaken.

As for moving the forum, CodeCat did that when the RPG Guild was created. Even I didn't have a say in the matter, as I was made Admin AFTER the RPG Guild was created, and AFTER Wargames was moved to it.


So, before you go bollocking off at me about something I've done, make sure that:
a) I know what it is you're bollocking of at me FOR.
b) I have actually fucking done it in the first place.

Well whatever it is, Vanguard, I'm sorry for any inconvenience caused, but when I am asked to do something by my hostees, I am obliged to do it. I was ASKED to remove your moderation powers, and I obeyed. If I'm asked for such a thing, I naturally assume that you've left Wargames or the forum, and therefore will just get on and do it. You're better off taking it out on them. I have no vendetta against you...I don't even fucking KNOW you, dude. Just when I get shitty PMs I tend to give back as good as I get. Sorry for my terse attitude. THAT, I will hold my hand up and apologise for.
However, I suggest you take this issue up with the other WG mods, as one of those guys asked me to do it. I'm basically here as their servant...I hold no authority within Wargames, nor any of my other Hostees.

And the forum move was done by CC, not me. So I'm blameless on this one, either. Hell, I'll even dig up the admin logs and prove that, if you like.

I think the 'leaders' of War Games should've talked to Vanguard about it, before asking an admin to do something.

I personally assumed they would've. As said, I exist as Admin only to serve my Hostees, as, technically, all Admins do. Each RPG governs itself in whatever way it sees fit. I don't make any decisions - I just do what people tell me to do.

I know that I'd have already been shot under the Geneva Convention, but

First of all, I'd like to apologise this inconvenience, in the name of this network. The forum War Games was moved from Project Raptor without Vanguard being informed. This is a fact. Period.

We are now investigating what happened, instead of placing the blame on wrong people (Comrade CodeCat and Paradox). So, I'd like to request those with admin powers to refrain from posting here, unless you have facts. Also, insults won't lead anyone anywhere.

It's a very boring situation when a hostee that we help to grow and become popular leaves, without a good reason and informing us. I've experienced this many times, both here and in PPM. Yea, it sucks... specially when the hostee becomes popular thanks to us.

Anyway, we'll have more answers on this issue in the next hours and I hope things will be clarified.

Smooth was the main organizer of this whole thing. He asked Immo (I still can't call him CodeCat for some reason) to set up the forum. When Ash learned, he was pretty pissed, because he wanted say in the forum being set up. But, he was then granted control over it and went on his merry way setting the place up, making it into what it is now.

Smooth also requested that War Games be moved, and posted a warning in the War Games forum that it was to be moved. Now, I thought he would have told, or preferably asked VG to have it moved. At the time we didn't really think about that, and I assumed Smooth would at least tell VG.

Smooth was also the one who brought up the fact that VG shouldn't be moderator of the forum anymore. I'm not sure what happened at that point, but I guess logically that he requested that VG be removed.

Now, I personally think miscommunication is to blame here, but that's just me.

Ah, it was Smooth, then, who asked me to do it, not Crave or 7th.

I didn't question why, as I figured he was staff/moderator of the Wargames thing, and therefore had discussed it with all concerned.

Smooth said it was either Paradox or Immo, and I didn't think Immo would have done it. Right now I just really want to know why, I apologize for earlier, BTW that quote, I type it like that since I have no space left in my sig , the largeness is now that since I work in the entertainment buisness I get asked very stupid questions, like can we smoke in the theater (there's a national law that prohibits that). Plus having a bad day didn't help things much, but that's no excuse for some of the things I said. There was no miscommunications since the communication never took place to begin with , well atleast not on my part, besides if you would have asked me I would have said yes. The moving isn't what I'm made about, it was the fact that I was never asked, kinda like when someone tells a secret of yours that they promissed not to do, it's a betrayal of my trust. I made you mods so I wouldn't always have to keep an eye on it, not to allow you to over run it, remember I told you each as I made you mods, that with great power comes great responsibility. Also remember I told you that if you want to make any changes to the forum, to ask me first, just because I was offline on MSN or the forums doesn't mean you couldn't e-mail me.

Crisis solved (for now) peace reigns.

I think it was a case of the left hand didn't know what the right was talking to the other left hand in regards to the other right hand...

In other words mis/lack of communication from the top of the top all the way to the bottom of the top.

It's more like the left hand assumed that the left hand of the other person it was talking to was talking to its own right hand, and that wasn't really the case.
