I have played Dow and it is the only good Wh40k game out there, basically because it depicts the grim dark future of the 40k universe so well, with the gore terrain scarring, persistent bodies and decals, as well as fast paced battles.
The question is will you try make the same kind of gameplay found in dow and implement it in this mod? and how? i have Eaw and the ground battles are exactly paradoxal to those found in dow(No persistent bodies, no fast paced action etc... like the infantry's lack of mobility and animation during caombat and, slow fire rate, And no blood( how can it be warhammer 40k with no blood, let alone no gore or bodies?).

Good point

But the fact that so many races will be added(eventually) makes up for any lack in other areas of gameplay making this the greatest 40k game\mod ever

Everyone knows EaW had shit ground battles, thats why we are going to spice them up so much they almost explode.

I don't understand why everyone disses the ground combat? WHat is wrong with it???

The only problem i had with it was that you couldn't organise your troops or your base unless you were actually in a fight.

Can someone please explain why everyone hates the GC so much?

Its bloody unbalanced, thats why.

And also, troopers aren't really that tough, you wouldn't be able to take 16 blaster-rounds to your face now would you?

if you have a sheild gen and a heavy factory you can beat any sized ai force


might be cause the ai is the second worse ive ever seen only narrowly beaten by black and white 2
