I have been having a prob with the fortress model whenI apply the skin for it it just comes up with it all mangeled and unmaped...am I useing the wrong model....could someone say witch model to use ^_^ :)

some uv maps won't import in gmax. i suppose it's another thing they changed in bfme 2

I experienced that same problem with the Mordor Fortress. Its a real Pain :)

It probably has something to do with the normal maps used for buildings. Mapping hierachy probably got changed and the importer can't recognize it.

you must be jokeing matias the whole map is totaly messed up the whole thing is just compacted from the top....honestly I doubt that anyone could sort it out.....apart from EA that is :)

You just start from scratch again. Mapping of buildings isn't hard, just really long.

I have a w3d importer for 3dsMax that imports them correctly. It uses MaxScript.

If you want it (only for 3ds Max) then I'll send it to you.

that would be great its just I don't have 3dmax (costs to much for me lol) do you have one that works for renx or gmax.....or you could tell me where to get 3dmax with no time limit
