think he means the weapon stats and armour speed etc of the ships and turning them into the stats eaw uses to determin hp and firepower of the star war ships

I have been balancing Only War now for something like 6 months and have got pretty damn good at balancing, and I know bfg well enough to be able to balance our mod simmilar to the tt game. But I certainly won't be making imperial cruisers have, say, 8 hit points, or a multiple of that or anything...
The thing is, the balance has to come from what you know. You can't easily make something that perfectly accurately represents a turn based game in real time. For example, we know that Marines are enhanced humans, so they run faster than guardsmen in Only War, even though they don't in the tt game.
Dawn of War did it ok, but I dunno... there's a certain something missing in DOW...

well ok, DOW is fantastic, but I dunno... it doesn't 'satisfy' me to butcher things sometimes...
