I'll answer this for him because the answer will be the same as always:


THERE WILL NOT BE ANY UPDATES UNTIL AFTER 8.0 IS OUT, AND THAT WILL BE WHEN IT'S DONE.

Hope that got it across to anyone who continually asks this question

actually, he's the first person in a WHILE to ask for an update. Besides, he asked for an UPDATE, not b-ing about when the mod will be coming out. Relax dude, it's like his only time he ever asked for an update (if i recall correctly..)

@Mr.Kanga: The 8.0 is on it's way, and getting nearer to completion everyday. So just wait because that is the ONLY update we had about the progress.

Actually there have been updates on the news section of the site, but updates as to when the next version of PR can be expected. I will release the date now, and that date is "When it's done."

Whoops sorry bout that vg, indeed you have released progress updates but never When You Will Be Done. And yes the exact date of release is WHEN ITS DONE!

Guys, we're sick of getting these update things. We want the mod to be so secret that when it comes out everyone is is like "WOW!" because indeed, WOW it will be. Now please, be patient so that you get the maximum pleassure out of Project Raptor.

Man guys if u heard wat the fans of shockwave say about PR u would be offended by them.

Also I read the topic they made about that thing about VG's slayer tank and Hunters Reaper tank and I flet disgusted by wat alot of them said about PR and VG .

but i guess this sorta stuff must be kept out of the head area as much as possible, should let those bad fans sit in the corner and spout black lies but a shock they would get when no one could give a sh*t about what they think which makes them feel stupid and if it makes them feel unwanted it must be a good thing

it's people who bad mouth other mods that make the mod that are part of look bad and that is annoying since i have seen shockwave and seems ok, high on the mod chain by the looks of it but i'll stick with some pr to enjoy

and never forget: hate the sin, not the sinner

*phew* glad i got that over with, i feel very sheepish when i get like this but VG's slayer tank is perfect since the ZH engine can't offer too much without considerabe lag and VG is our amigo

well just me ranting round bout shockwave...

Well to tell you the truth, shockwave does have some new additions but i can never say that it can outmuscle PR when 8.0 comes out. I tried shockwave and its not all the hype that it promises to be, im dead on serious and I am not saying this as a PR whore as some say but i am saying this as a long time mod enthusiast.

Both are GREAT mods, no lie. But one just happens to be better

I'm gonna say this now. SHOCKWAVE ISN"T ALL THAT GREAT. I usually play mods for more than a week each but I stopped playing shockwave after the first game. I'm the guy who likes almost every mod too.

Oh and BTW, for future reference, Hunter will be using a Quad similar to mine, he didn't steal it, since I never released mine, he did get his from another source, so no hate topic, doing so I will lock and ban the one slandering him. And I'm good, but I couldn't have done it without my fan base .

A lot of people don't even know what PR is though (people who don't know what mods are or haven't even heard of C&C, or even people who don't play video games at all). I doubt we could get national publicity unless we released it as a full blown game and started our own company.

Maybe NATIONAL publicity was a bit exaggerated, but a mod for C&C ZH, Cold War Crisis, made numerous appearances on PC magazines and such. It hasnt been released yet, but it feels like a whole new game engine and the models seem impossibly detailed.

Project Raptor is NOT a full conversion, thus a mini-mod for the Zero Hour Expansion Pack. Therefore, Project Raptor would be the PREMIER Mini-Mod for Zero Hour and magazine publicities are sure to come. There ya go, instant national recognition.

heh and if such a venture suceeds then a special propaganda program will have to be added into PR whether it's a chinese proaganda upgrade or a freaky soldier that chants on, and on, and on about the amount of new stuff that Pr has brought ZH

you actually can't say it's a mini mod since if you cast your memory back to when ZH was bare back with minimal special gen stuff:
laser gen: laser turrets
SW gen: emp patriots, adv cold fusion reactors
Air force gen: king raptors

Infantry gen: min-gunners, fortifyed bunkers, assault troop crawlers
tank gen: emperor tanks
Nuke gen: adv nuclear reactors

toxin gen: toxin rebels, anthrax gamma uprgade
Demo gen: adv demo traps
stealth gen: stealth for most of his buildings

overall: daaaaarrrrrrrk times back then

compared to the mega-tons of new things we have to play with now
