Last night I got a bit bored with coding so I decided to give skinning a go. A few minutes ago I finished my first skin, and here it is:
The frontal view of the skin. Ignore the horn, it will be removed later
A view of his shield
Another view of his shield, conveniently placed over his face
This was skinned entirely from scratch by me (hence the really bad head), but any advice you can give me will be much appreciated

Yeah I tried using those tools a bit on the hair and cloak, guess I'll have to use them a but on the rest of the skin too.
As for the mail, my thought is that he's ready for a battle. He's not going to a festival or anything, he's just preparing for a battle, hence the large quantites of mail. I was going to add a belt at some point, and maybe some vambraces.
Thanks for the suggestions on the burn/dodge tool though
