I downloaded the mod this morning and I must say, that I'm enjoying every minute of it, especially my "Devastator Horde" but is it me or does the leageu have pitifull defence compared to the freedom and Nexus sides. (they don't really shine in anything but chrono stuff)

Nexus has in my opinion the best air defence, while freedom can easily built masses of hell cannons to prevent early rushes from the ground. and unlike the photon(?) cannon that the legion uses they got no built limit. and are lower on the tech level.

Ofcourse my opinion may be baised as I couldn't even hold of a medium nexus with the legion yet easily beated the brutal nexus. using the freedom side :p (ofcourse with highest amount of money on, units on ten just incase I needed to buy myself more time) Yes I camped alot the brutal round. steadily taking more ground with my regenerators, kirovs, and elite devastators.

all in all VERY succesfull mod, and I can't wait to see the completed version. :)

Well first of all... Thank you for your nice comments :)

Allied Legion may seem weak defenses wise..still keep in mind..those chrono towers can link like prism towers did to remove units quicker and Particle Cannon defenses while limited are effective weakener when supported.

I have some updates in mind anyways as work on 2.0 progresses nicely so stay tuned :p

2.0 will be a lot more balanced, an airforce can break through nexus defense lol in the newer version which will come out evenutally.

but yeah it rocks :)

also chrono towers can be powered up by legionnaires, use pillboxs to distract and chronos in groups along with particle to pawn the enemy.

If I could use your base as fodder, while I tech up I could try. then maybe save your fleeing mcv. (Which you would run straight into my base so I would have little choice :p)

No shit, the left side was only coverd by 8 (or so) antiair cannons And a squad of heavy gunners.

against a human player I would NEVER rely(?) so heavily on stationary defences.
not to mention have only been playing, the mod for a few(two) days Mister l33tn3s. ;)

Actually haven't even played the mod today. ;)

Lol :p

Well, I was thinking chronoshifting tanks into middle of your base and let your cannons do work for me

Though I agree, such a defence would be impenetrable to the AI :p

I have a plant to get through your defences. (Not including tanks.)

As Allied Legion:
Sneak a spy into your powerplants, then use Fusion Cannons and Weather Tanks

As Freedom League:
Sneak a spy into your powerplants, then use the stolen-tech

As NEXUS:
Sneak a spy into your powerplants, then, uh... Blow up the the whole thing with Centurions!

As a combination:
Chronosphere 9 Bomb Trucks to the line of defences.
Then sneak a spy into your powerplants, and use the stolen.

Idon't know excatly how much you spent on those defences, but my League tactics are just 3 or 4 spies and the Nuke artillery.

Ofcourse I would be oblivious to the random group of guys going to my power plants..(see: no infantry near my entrance..) then notice the group of kirovs, and devastators.

Also you can't have a chronosphere as freedom, that and I WOULD bomb your demo trucks.
even if you could have a chronosphere, it would mean I had superweapons too.

Yet since you picked an Allied one, I can pick a nexus one (iron curtain.. )

And as you can pick a secret tech I could choose one to, my choice would be: Dreadnought. Then chrono it in your base, wreak havoc and cackle when you finally destroy it. :p

BTW I bought that defence with the starting money of 50k, not including my three oil derricks and my two oil platforms.

Any more cunning tactics mcv?
