getting volunteers for catching and collecting might be tough and even if do..they'll get nice doses of poison most likely in process and we gotta bury more ppl..and what will those parents who have lost their children to these frogs gonna say? preserve them, they are just misguided creatures?
or would you wanna preserve them if one of your family got killed by a frog..or perhaps you'll set rule to stay in house all day long to avoid frogs killing anybody..of course have to take other animals in question too so offer them a place to stay as well with you?
or we think of a civilized solution..we'll build a prison for the poison frogs for life time imprisoment for their killing habits like we'd do to serial killers?
or we look up even more predatory species and ship them to australia so nature takes care of the problem and we don't have to debate morality of killing as we aren't doing it directly ourselves.
or we'll devise a poison to kill them nicely without firing a shot and claim its all god's work
or just hire pyromaniacs to burn down the australia problem areas with napalm
fact is... army is doing what it is doing for self-preservation which is our basic right unless wanna debate frogs are of greater use and people should move out from Australia so Australia can be renamed as the Frog Land

And frankly, human superiority argument aside, I feel that the NATURAL ECOSYSTEM, nay, Mother Nature HERSELF, holds sway. Those animals, brought over by humanity or not, DO NOT BELONG THERE. Oh, yes, let's let the entire ecosystem of Australia be destroyed, because we can sleep easy at night without conscience clear because we didn't kill any frogs, knowing that in our not doing so, we didn't do the one thing that we COULD actually have done to stop it from happening. We are truly righteous.

There's no practical way to remove the infestation short of killing the frogs. Sorry Blaat, but I'd rather have my eco-system intact before I save some fucking frogs. And hell, it's not like the species is going extinct. They're still flourishing in their natural habitat.

So yeah, I'll say it again, one more time. Instead of saying something among the lines of "Let's get our brandnew 7Dh3 Shotgun out and blast them to death!!" you (in general, not you specifically) could also bring it in a different way. But some here, chose to pick the first one. Which is why I went my road. Thread would've been more boring if we had all 100% agreed.
There is no right and wrong, there's only opinions.
So whatever .

But actually, yes, we should just get our guns and eliminate the frogs.

But let's leave it here. I don't think continuing would be sensible.
