I am going to be away for almost the entire month of July...what will happen to the SMS when I am gone? Will it simply be knocked off the map, or what?

Just stay neutral from the war. Do that, and you won't get touched. 
If you are ok with it getting occupied, it will do, but I'd guarantee you'd get it back.

But why would I occupy it? I think Ash should occupy it while you're gone, and we'll get it back after the war so you can play in CCW2.

Torn brings up a point...Yeah, I think that a better occupier would be a ComFIAN/LSN country, because it gives them a strategic position right in the middle of ISAF things.

I never saw it. Besides, I pulled my guys out of Derkaderka...I figured that'd be the end of my involvement there.
