"That's a lie! There is no evidence!... Now repeat after me, children: We are right... We are right... We are right..."

That's how this whole thing sounded to me. And while still being somewhat christian, I do find that amount of stupidity offensive. One of the first things we were taught in religion class was under which circumstances the people wrote the story about world's creation.

LMFAO epic fail. :p
Talk about brainwashing. "What we are seeing here is artwork not science."
Ah, hypocrisy. How I have missed thee. Let's see those wankers provide something fucking scientific to prove their own dogmas.

"How do you know?"
How do those wankers know what they have is right? Even if evolution is wrong, it has more solid evidence than 'it says so in the Bible'.

Point your finger and laugh. Don't bother getting worked up over this sort of stuff, it won't do a thing. I just laugh at these things and move along.

Religious nutters seem to have this idea that they have a monopoly on the truth with their dillusions...

There's even this nutjob called "Dr. Dino". Now he also rapes science in a Biblically Correct way. He suggested that the atmosphere once was pure oxygen, pretty insane. *Wouldn't wanna light a spark then*

Lurking moar since 2004 2003!

LOL indeed. If it had once been 100% oxygen there wouldn't be an Earth to live on...

More troubling, he seems to believe that large populations of organisms can live in an ecosystem, and that their environment has no effect on them, and they have no effect on their environment. By putting a rabbit in a respirometer, we know this is not true. The rabbit consumes O2, produces H2O and CO2, and usually increases the temperature of the respirometer unless you're in the Nevada desert.
A better example, you obtain 3000 D. melanogaster and place them in a huge fish tank kept at 37 Celsius with a bit of humidity, some plants and food sources. Poison one food source, introduce ten predators, and decrease the temperature in one area of the fish tank and I guarantee you after fifteen generations you will see a significantly different distribution of genes in discrete populations across the microenvironment.
I'm also kind of curious, if at one time we had a pure oxygen atmosphere, where'd all the xenon come from? Argon? Nitrogen? I can understand the CO2 would be produced by consumption of hydrocarbons on the earth, and N2 is rarely produced by reactions with NH3, but the noble gases?
It's all convincing when you watch their videos, they try to make it very simple to understand, but the second you get to the science behind it, their arguments all fall apart.

IRRELEVANT. There is no science, only Jesus. Do these "elements" show up in the Bible? Huh? Did Jesus care about his fish being in the right humidity? I thought so. Clearly you're just plain wrong. Probably making this stuff up.

The funny (or sad) thing is though that previously there have been people saying exactly that kind of thing in this thread. Without sarcasm.

Not that I'm advocating raiding a creationist's board, just that it would be 'teh lulz'.

Actually, there are about ten different passages in the Bible which all say different things about homosexuality, and the modern interpretation by most reasonable churches is that homosexuality is fine by them. It's basically only the Catholics, Baptists, and evangelical Protestants who have a problem with that, and that's more due to the fact that an old guard of clergy have prevailed for the last sixty years, where as other churches have had become more liberalized.
Oh and I guess I'm just racking up the mortal sins here. It's really too bad there are people out there with such antiquated views of the world.

Baptists are freaks. I only know one, which I admit isn't the most representative sample, but he's a right nutjob. His girlfriend dumped him after he apologised to God for having sex with her.

Anyone want to tell me what Molech is?
I hope I am a good enough writer that some day dwarves kill me and drink my blood for wisdom.
