saruman will not mount unless gto changes it but right now he will not.
Gondor rangers can toggle and are 3 in a group

i never said he did. i just think since gandalf can mount a nother wizard should be able to mount to. but if no one else agrees with me ill just be quiet
Saruman was a stationary wizard for many years. He lived in Isengard for something like 500 years if I remember correctly. Therefor I gave him the 'Industry' power which fits in both with his interest in mechanics and industry as well as his stationary life style.
The blue wizards on the other hand might mount. I haven't decided yet.
GTO you and celeglin should put your mods together since you guys ( besides the rhovanion alliance(and who knows how long it is going to take for them to finish)) are like the only people still modding the first game.
Celeglin and I had discussed this at one point, but that was long ago. And if we were to do this it would be for the second versions of our respective mods... but realistically I don't think that will ever happen now. I don't think we'd continue modding long enough to make a combined second edition. I know for me this is my last big mod... and I don't know how long I'll continue modding after I complete it.

I'll update my site sometime with those lists. The Gondor one still isn't finalized as I haven't decided on what units and heroes will be in the final version. There are several gondor things that I came up with just the other day that would be extremely easy to add and would be fun to use, but I haven't decided for sure that they will be in there..... so for right now don't post any full lists of units. I'll take care of it eventually. Probably at the same time I make the beta, trailer, and other stuff.
As for Haldir, I am changing up the way the Elven Summons works (and keeping it a secret for now), but that is how he will be in the game... via summons.
As for an update today: I've solved several of my coding problems, and had several new ones rear their ugly heads... On the modelling side I've finished the morgul wall model and now I am skinning it and giving it the morgul glow. Hopefully it will be finished within a day or two so that I can put it in-game and get some screens for you all.

I'm not sure what the haradrim captain is going to do...I was given the skin and part of the model long ago but never got it ingame before now. He'll probably ride a mumakil and give nearby ones leadership. But it all depends on if I can get him working.
Also, don't worry about me finishing the mod and leaving the next day or anything like that. Whenever it is that I decide to quit it will be awhile... I'll stick around to help others and do little things here and there once my mod is finished. I'm just making sure that my departure won't be a sudden and unexpected thing... or if I stop visiting for days here and there people won't wonder where I went.

Update: the main morgul wall model is completely finished. I've still got some coding parts for it to finish but it should be good to go.
Next I've got to model the gate and elevator wall pieces. Gate should be fun
As far as coding goes, I've been doing a little here and there around the modelling. One day this week I'll devote entirely to coding and get the rest of the gondor stuff done. I've been having alot of trouble with one of the new gondor powers and I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it or just drop it. Rather frustrating
I also just played two games of bfme online for the first time in about 6 months, here are a few things I noticed when playing:
what unit is mordor's anti-flame unit? everything I sent against my opponent he owned. Mumakil survived the longest.....hmmm. I didn't try Rhun but didn't EA lower their armor resistance anyway?
Lol, gondor turtler got owned by me (mordor)... was a very fun game of siege warfare for me. Just goes to prove that you can't give mordor the entire map. Now multiply the fun by 2 CP limit = KotW mod yeah! (800 evil CP, 400? good CP... x2 original CP. And still runs fine on my older comp during skirmish... I'll have to see if it will do so in MP as well).
Why did EA raise Gollum's cost! 150 for a base capture unit and spy?!? Though the non-moving stealth was very usefull.
I like the new lair spawn money raise. Very helpfull in the early game.
All in all an enjoyable set of games. One win and one loss... but that's ok. The loss was so so so close, came down to the Rohan summons and upgrades
This has encouraged me to work and fix the balance so that each faction has a more fair, and much more importantly, a more fun game.
Another update and the morgul wall screens tomorrow.
